Gel Impact UM-153 White [Pack of 3] Broad 1.0mm Rollerball

If you are looking for a white pen to add highlights over your colored pencils, this is the best pen for the job. With a single pass, this pen will glide on a bright, smooth line of white on pencil drawings. I tested it over both burnished and unburnished Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils, with excellent results. Great for adding whiskers, fur, sparkles, and other bright highlights to your art work.

I bought these pens to write addresses on red envelopes for Christmas. They did a great job, the ink was opaque. I also used it to write messages on some Christmas cards that had a dark blue background. FYI, I bought what appeared to be the same Uni-ball UM 153 model white pens from a Japanese seller here on Amazon a few years back and they were horrible, skipping, and the ink was light. Maybe they were old or knock-offs? My latest purchase pens are good quality.

Writes smoothly and appears opaque on my brown kraft paper! When writing opaque it sometimes has to leave a bit of liquid on the paper so you need to be a little careful not to smudge for a second, but that is as expected for a white pigmented pen to be as strong as this.

Works great as advertised, but not for what I wanted. The ink is thick and truly opaque. It shows up well on black and dark colored paper. The reservoir is much larger than the cheap chinese made gel pens found elsewhere. Overall, a well made writing instrument. But... I was looking for something to cover up the lines and numbers of my color-by-number books so that they would not show through the lighter colors. This covered up the numbers all right, but it would not take ink from a fineliner and a colored pencil just scraped it right off. But it does what it was intended to do very well.

This is an amazing white gel pen , better than the most known brand( gelly roll). I try it on black paper and it did a lot better than the other brand, it started skipping a little because I guess I pass it to many times in the same spot. Still is looking wonderful, I recommend this gel pen .

I love these pens I opened them and tried them out the minute I got them, they write smooth and they write great over colored pencil, thats mainly what I bought them for so I can put some highlights over my drawings. and they work fine they do smudge though (obviously) if you don't let them dry and you do sometimes have to go over the white ink a couple of times to get the right amount of ink you want but those are only little things these are awesome pens!

I got these to make mandalas on black paper. I had seen on pinterest someone was using these on round stones to make mandalas and I really wanted to do it too so I purchased these. They work great! I'm very happy with them. They don't drop out as I call it like many of my other gel pens do. I get a smooth line every time. I haven't used them on stones yet but I am really impressed with the quality of these. I will definitely be getting more when these are used up.

I bought these to use with coloring books and in general art. I just want them to add accents since I tend to forget (or mess up) and end up without intended highlights. I've done a few quick tests and they've colored well over colored pencil (even after using a blender to make the surface glossy), watercolor, and markers. The ink flows very well and makes it easy to make small stippled dots of white, which is something not all gel pens can accomplish. I'm pleased with this purchase, though I don't think I need all 3 pens and will probably be giving one to a friend who also colors. (Would be nice if these were sold in a 1 or 2 pack for a similar price point.)
