lighter material
These are made with a lighter material than standard dickies. Pretty comfy and lifghtweight. It's like the 874s after they are broke in. I will be getting these in more colors.

absolute sizing failure from 32 to 34
this is one of the worst size gaps I have ever encountered. ideally I am a size 33. I ordered the 34 and they were exactly like a 36 would be, I could fit an entire first inside the waist line. so then I returned those and ordered a 32 which is extremely tight, more like a 31. between a 32 and 34 there is a massive sizing gap, which is insane because that is the most common waist size for men. I have an older pair of dickies exactly like this in size 34, and those are indeed a size 34, just tiny bit big but comfortably so and still wearable. also on these newer shorts the zipper itself and the crotch hole area has been shrunken down to conserve costs. its to the point that you cant go to the bathroom to pee without completely undoing the button and taking the shorts off, there is no way to access your hose without tearing it to shreads and cutting off the stream because the hole is so small. the cargo pockets have been shrunken down to 2/3rds of the size of the older shorts in same exact model as well. overall I am extremely disappointed and will be ordering other brand shorts from now on that run true to size and dont try to cut costs by shrinking zipper, crotch area, and pockets to save a few cents. thanks a lot dickies

Great
The material is nice, has a tough feel but looks nice. Comes out of the drier with almost no wrinkles. The 13" length comes down a little lower than I expected (I'm average height), about 2 inchs below my knee cap. 12" length would have been perfect for me, however, I prefer a little too long than too short. The fit in the waist was just right. I normally take a 30"-32" waist. I ordered the 32" which is on the loose side of a perfect fit for me, just the way I like it. Overall a very utilitarian pair of shorts that look nice (As formal as you can get with a pair of shorts)
