Samsung Slim Fry MC28A5137CK/E3 28L Combi Microwave Oven, Black Glass

Always bought Panasonic Microwaves having found them very durable. However our last one didn't prove quite so successful. I did some research on quality, price ease of use etc... and decided that the Samsung appeared to offer best overall value. How long it will last I cannot say, but initial impressions are that is it is well made, looks good in our new kitchen and allows us to cook everything we need. As always between manufacturers the different offerings in the button controls can confuse and has (temporarily) slowed us down a little but we are working through the manual. So far so good.

Having the same Samsung smart oven combi microwave for over 12 years (the only difference was the door handle design) and have been amazed with it's performance, but sadly the microwave function stopped working a couple of weeks ago, I did think about trying to fix it with it might have been done to a faulty door switch (but I'm no electronic whizz kid so I would be clutching at straws) but when I stumbled upon the same microwave on Amazon with the amazing 47% discount, I just had to get it and it's like reunited with an old friend and fingers crossed hope this one will last as long

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this. Like many others, the start button broke after about 14 months of use.I thought I did register as I do this normally every time I buy Samsung, I have Samsung everything, washing machine, american fridge freezer, heat pump drier induction hob etc. For some reason I didn't get round to registering this.A total waste of money, when it worked it was good and looks so nice too.Samsung must know this a common problem, as many people have complained about this on their own website.I am not prepared to pay a callout charge and then for parts and labour for a £220 microwave oven.I have now binned it and got one from a brand which seems to be much better with customer service when/if things go wrong.Such a let down from Samsung. If they were so confident that their products are built to last more than two years, why do they expect us to register??Not happy at all.The actual Amazon deliver was second to none though, as usual.Edit update **. After losing my temper and liberally spraying it with Bar Keepers Friend , I left it unplugged for a few hours, and, it’s working again.Not ideal, but it’s working. No idea what fixed it because it gets cleaned every time it’s used.Second edit: It’s definitely broken now. The start button has died. Totally waste of money.

A nice design and shows good quality. Easy to use and has alot of pre selected functional buttons. The only downside for me is that the defrosting function is not as good as my previous microwave. This takes triple the time to defrost. H3nce the reason im giving it 4 stars. Other than that it's all good.. Heats the food like it should. Don't really use it for any thing else. Tried the grill once and it did a good job.

Replaced my ten year old Samsung microwave. Looks great, easy to clean and all the facilities I need.

We never need to use the oven since we got this. This microwave can be used as an oven with the click of a button. You can adjust the degrees very easily so if there's a meal you want to cook with only say 600 degrees on the packaging, you can adjust the microwave to that which makes it very convenient.Our favourite thing to cook in it is Pizza! So quick and easy to just pop the pizza in the 'microwave'Very easy to clean as we just remove the plate and put it in the dishwasher and then give the inside a wipe clean. It's bigger than most microwaves so bare that in mind if you are buying for a small space and make sure to measure first. Ours just about fit where we wanted it ( we didn't measure beforehand) but it looks great in the kitchen now and we will never go back to a regular microwave. It is a must have for any kicthen.

This has been a great little machine, done what it needed to doNow the question arises....all of a sudden it has stopped with a diamond shape flashingThe internet indicates this is a common PCB problem with this machineSo I'm going to see if Samsung will do anything about it under current consumer rules and I will report back
