Excellent!!
I love this! I hate ironing and avoid it at all costs. However I needed to iron some new curtains and bedding which arrived very creased. This took out all the creases without any effort. I still haven't used it on clothes but I'd imagine it will do an equally good job. It was a great price too, compared to others I looked at online.

Great Iron
This is my first Steam Generator iron. The product is great. As an experiment, I tried to iron two shirts in wardrobe, which have always been tough to iron. They give me trouble, as they are 100% cotton and the creases were always very hard to get rid of. With my old steam iron, it would take ten passes to remove creases. I avoided wearing those two shirts, because it took too much effort to iron. With the Beko it managed to remove those creases in one pass. I tried my other clothes and it did a good job. Where the Beko proved to be no more beneficial then a traditional iron was on easy-to-iron clothing. If you are going to iron mainly easy-iron clothing, then there is no need for this Beko (or any steam generator iron). A standard steam iron, is just as good. Your decision has to be based on the clothing you own. DE-IONISED WATER This Beko came with two limescale filters, I decided to use Deionised water to increase the lifespan of the filter, but I don't think it is very economic, as I have already used up 1L of water to iron about 6 shirts. The filters are £18.99 each on espares. There are two colours available Purple (SGA7126P) and Blue (SGA7124B). On reviewer found it annoying to hold the steam button, for me it was not a big issue and got used to it quickly. The iron does make some beeps, but I am not sure why it is doing that. If you are watching TV, whilst doing the ironing, it would cause annoyance to others, both the steam pump and beeps. The only other point, is the cable tends to get twist, so you need to unwind it. NEGATIVE POINT: Overall the Beko is perfect, however, there is one major issue. When ironing, I keep the iron upright on the ironing table, but it has a habit of tipping over and on several occasions, have had to stop it dropping to the ground. On most normal irons, the iron base is always at an angle. For some reason, Beko have made their iron base flat, so just a little nudge on the cable or a slight wobble on the iron table and it is about to fall to the ground. I keep the base of the unit on the ground and the cable is long enough. I might need to glue something to the iron base, so the iron is leaning backwards like a normal iron. I did consider, other brands, but the Beko came in well both on price and features. Overall, happy with my purchase. UPDATE 1 (2019) : You have to be careful of the steam, as it ends up going up. I ended up with an issue with my eye. It has heal. I suggest you wear safety glasses or press the steam button as little as possible. The steam also sting my eye, no sure why.... I don't know if there is a chemical reaction with the filter.

Brilliant product!
I really like this product. It has a metal clip on the side to hold the cables and it has a twist lock on the top which locks the iron in place for storing. As for efficiency, it has an economic mode for lots of ironing which can be changed to 1 of 3 steam settings. Super powerful 6 bar steam pressure. Easy to fill water tank. Glides over your clothes brilliantly and has a shut off button should you accidentally leave the iron on. It will shut down after a certain period of inactivity. What's not to love?

good at steaming but the location of the buttons make ...
good at steaming but the location of the buttons make the whole thing frustrating. You have to keep the button on the underside of the handle pressed for continuous steam however the heat control is directly above this on the top of the handle so every time you "steam" something you end up putting it on to Eco mode or some other thing.

Waste of Money
I bought this with a voucher & it was also on offer. I would not have liked to pay full price. My friend had a steam generator iron which was excellent. I should have bought the same model. I have a Beko washing machine which I'm really happy with so thought a Beko iron would also be good. If isn't. The steam setting is not particularly effective but the worst thing is the iron will, without warning, spit out water. I cannot find any reason for this. It has absolutely ruined some of my clothing therefore after only a few weeks, I no longer use it & have had to buy another iron.

Getting a replacement cartridge is not that easy as it is not easily available on the market
Works well. On Auto mode the steam generation is not as powerful as on manual mode. All the same on auto mode, it functions well. Getting a replacement cartridge is not that easy as it is not easily available on the market. After several attempts trying to find it on the internet without success, I called Beko after getting a response to the email I sent. Beko customer service were very helpful and directed me to a retailer who sold the cartridge. If you are looking for a cartridge, you can contact partmaster.co.uk.

I can iron my knits now!
I wanted to buy a steam iron for a while and after a thorough search, I chose this one. It does what I expected: with lots of steam generated, I can now safely iron even very delicate fabrics, including my knitted garments - it's great for steam blocking. I am usually a bit clumsy and get burnt easily, but I've never had any issues with this iron. It is a bit noisy, but it's not really a problem. It's not very light (although not terribly heavy either), so I'm not sure if it would be the best choice for someone with arthritis etc., but that's probably true for all steam generator irons. For me, it's exactly what I wanted.
