Quality product at a great price point
Well pleased with this power station, best price in this size range. Solidly built, weight is light enough most should be able to pickup and move around. Battery life is as expected for this size range. The display is easily visible in most conditions and blanks after a period of time. The only minor complaint that I have is the door for the bay with the input ports can be a little hard to open, having to pry it a little with a pointed implement as my finger nails are not that strong. I am currently using it in EPS mode. The app was easy to connect to the unit once downloaded providing basic information on the various states, have not explored it alot at this time.Overall I would highly recommend this unit, plenty of lifting power at 4500 watts surge and 2000 watts running with 1024 ah of battery.

Solid product! Well built and intuitive.
What an incredible power backup system. I've been using it to run my Dometic Fridge and other goodies camping. The battery backup outside of main unit will run my fridge for over a week. Really impressed with how simple and intuitive this battery system is. The cool part in my scenario is running the fridge directly from the 2000W backup battery - it has the DC car plug! When cross shopping i didn't see other systems that had this option. My buddy runs a top competitor that is a bit more expensive for the same type of setup; he finds my system a much better value and was a bit jealous that you can run things off the backup battery. The main battery must be used to charge the backup battery is the only caveat. So they can't be apart for too long. It is the perfect camping setup for my week long trips to the beach. The cords, plugs and buttons are all really beefy. It feels like a solid unit overall. The connecting plug between batteries is massive! I tested 400W of solar input and it charged the main battery in a couple hrs. Faster than either of us expected as we were only getting 250W total from panels/sun. The system picked up the charge right away. I researched whether a charge controller that i have would be needed. After some research it is recommended to NOT use a solar charge controller as the main unit already has it built in. Just an FYI. House charger got everything topped off quickly. You will see the charge on batteries as they are charging together. It has checked all the boxes. I don't have any complaints. I got it on a Prime Day special. The next day it was $400 more! I got lucky b/c this system has exceeded my expectations.

Great product and even better value
The OUPES Mega 1 is kind of a no-brainer if you actually look at what it delivers for the price. It’s got a 1024Wh LiFePO4 battery (3,500+ cycles), a 2000W inverter with 4500W surge, UPS mode, app control, and solar expansion. Basically, everything the high-end brands brag about—just without the inflated price tag. Yeah, it’s a little heavy at around 30 pounds, but I only use it for truck camping and shoots, so it’s fine. It sits behind the seat or in the bed and doesn’t move much anyway. The handles make it easy enough to haul when needed. Battery life’s solid—I can run my fridge, laptop, drone chargers, lights, and espresso maker for days, then plug into solar and keep it going. It charges stupid fast too—about 80% in an hour if I need to top off between drives. Once I add the solar panels, I’ll basically have unlimited power wherever I park. Design-wise, it’s clean and functional. The display’s bright, ports are actually where you want them, and the build feels premium without being overdesigned. For me, it hits both worlds: power for long video shoots (charging cameras, lights, and editing gear) and comfort for overlanding (running camp lights, Starlink, and the fridge). I’ve used plenty of overpriced power stations, and this one just makes sense. Can’t wait to get the solar setup dialed in—it’s about to make my truck a full-on mobile studio.

Extremely useful, top notch power bank/generator
This is a very convenient, very powerful, very versatile portable power center or generator. It is fully electric so it can be run indoors and the initial charge to get it fully powered up took under two hours. I have not attempted to charge with solar panels, but you can with this unit. There are a multitude of outlets - both AC and DC, including usb ports. I had the opportunity to use it almost immediately after purchase when a transformer blew on my street. This bank is instant on and I had all of my necessities (internet, TV, alexa, speakers, phone charging and a light) fired up in minutes. Probably the most underrated feature of this unit is the power consumption and charge remaining display. I cannot overstate how useful it is to know exactly how much power each item is drawing and how long of a charge you have left. Oh, and the unit screams durability in feel, look, and performance.

Works well in so far limited service
I might upgrade this ti 5 stars in the future. In limited service, it charged quickly on AC, charged slowly on a 90W solar panel n a northern city (expected), and was able to deliver plenty of power to various devices through the AC and USB plugs. It is holding charge in storage well. The ability to turn on and off the AC, USB, and DC sections of the panel is appreciated. As commented elsewhere, the fan can be noisy, but they need to cool the batteries while charging and use. That is the only small negative I have so far.

A solid powerful Power Station for the price
This unit packs a powerful punch for the price and is very versatile. The Mega 1 is the smallest and lowest power unit in the series, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a useful power backup or supplement. I ordered one on a friend’s recommendation, and I am happy with my purchase. The case is a sturdy, durable unit, heavy, but not to heavy to lift using the attached handles. Setup is easy, and the included cables are easy to connect. The recommendation is to fully drain the battery before the first full charge to balance the battery management system. I did that, , plugged it in, and it charged quickly. There is even a rapid charging option. I got hooked and bought a separate solar panel, and am able to easily charge in on sunny days using the included cable. The design layout on the front panel is done well providing access to usb, AC and DC port options. The app was a bit clunky, but there have been many updates to it in recent months. You can use the app to monitor and control the station, though you can also use the station totally offline without the app. I would like to see the brightness of the front screen being a little brighter in order to more easily read. Overall, I’m very happy with the Mega 1. I did research, and comparable units are much more expensive. The Mega 1 is now selling for even less than what I paid.

AFFORDABLE ALTERNATIVE TO OVERPRICED NAME BRAND UNITS
After five months of using this power station in a variety of locations, scenarios, and countries, I can say with full confidence that this unit performs on par with other more well-known or premium brands, but at a significantly more competitive price. Over these five months, the unit has provided us with the energy we needed during the expeditions carried out with our camping club, ranging from Denali and Sequoia National Parks, as well as BLM camping sites in the Cargo Muchacho Mountains in the United States (where we explored old mining settlements) to visits to archaeological sites in Baja, Mexico (Cataviña and the rock paintings in the Sierra de San Francisco), and Yaxhá National Park in Guatemala. We used this power station to charge mobile devices and power small electric coolers, but primarily to keep our Starlink satellite internet system running at our base camp. The unit was recharged using generic 200-watt solar panels, which under clear-sky conditions charged the unit in an average of approximately six hours, a performance I consider very acceptable for an entry-level power station. Additionally, I have used this unit on two occasions during power outages in the area where we live. During interruptions lasting a couple of hours (common in certain semi-rural and rural areas of California) the power station was able to keep a full-size refrigerator running, along with our internet modem, both operating simultaneously without any issues. Overall, to this date, this unit has not only met but exceeded my expectations, and I can confidently recommend it.
