5 Stars say a lot
So far, I'm impressed with this polish. Love the color and it seems to be staying on well. As a nail tech it's hard to keep polish looking good. The only thing is, I believe it does contain HEMA, but I've had no issues. Oh, and I love the brush, it's rounded on the end and fits the nail bed well.

Beautiful color! Exactly what I was looking for!
Beautiful color! Great quality thick polish! It is a nice swwp brown color with a reddish hue (which I prefer over a normal chocolatey brown). I know others don't like the consistency, but I personally love it (in my opinion the polishes consistency is similar to beetles gel polish). (The polish looks slightly more red in person with direct sunlight)

Best black nail polish ever
Love this high pigment, one coat black gel nail polish. I only did one very thin layer over a base coat and then put a cat eye and top coat over it. It’s amazing for not putting on multiple layers so your nails don’t get too bulky. One thin layer was equal to 2-3 layers of typical black polish. Saved so much time and effort. I’d definitely buy more. I’m a baby nail do it yourself-er and this was easy for me to use. I would do a thin layer and flash cure while working but then finish cure for 100+ seconds with 120W nail lamp and I had no issues with bubbling or wet polish. 100 seconds was the minimum setting I had that I found it fully cured.

Is the One Coating rumor true?
I bought this because TikTok said it was a “one coating” white. It’s not but it’s still very pigmented and thin so no pooling on the sides.

Let’s talk about this..Pros and Cons
Pros— 1. Exterior of bottles are fully coated. Why’s that important? Because if any part of a gel bottle has see-through glass, polish IN the bottle can inadvertently get cured if the bottle is too close to the lamp (within a foot). 2. Consistency is fairly thick. You could easily get away with 2 coats, depending on your technique (I use 2 thin coats). 3. Self-leveling is an 8 out of 10. You still have to be careful, especially on the lighter colors (pink, white). 4. Shine is great. Looks like it has a topcoat after curing (of course you still need a topcoat). 5. Durability is 8 out of 10. I tried to demolish these: bent, scratched, rubbed, knocked around with some tools. They stood up very well. 6. Colors are pretty. They’re true to the swatch cap. Cons— 1. More colors please? 2. Not really a “Con” but cure time is a tiny bit more than I’m used to. I use the SUNUV 48 watt and this did not cure with a 30 second ramp-up (to reduce heat spikes) to 60 second full light (90 seconds total). Was still a little tacky. It DID cure with 30 second ramp-up + 2 minutes. Depends on your lamp though. 3. HATE. THE. BRUSH. It’s too big and fans out at the tip and is too floppy. Why do so many companies not spend the extra 3 cents per bottle for a GOOD brush? A good brush (ideally) is tapered IN or slanted at the tip, somewhat FIRM so you can accurately polish sidewalls without risk of flooding cuticles. I just use my own brush. 4. The stem on the black polish was not connected to the neck of the brush. I had to jam the stem ONTO the brush neck before I could even open the bottle. Quality control. Overall, these are good polishes and worth buying. Minimal coats, self leveling, durable. There’s a lot of potential here IF they step up their game with quality control, BRUSH quality, and color selection.

Beautiful shade
Nice forest green color easy to apply and lasts weeks with proper top coat. Goes with Christmas wardrobe colors. I noticed my friends are wearing green now too

Too thick!
While I have loved every other MelodySusie polish I’ve ordered, this one was too thick. It did not dry after 60 seconds under my hybrid UV/LED lamp. Filed it off and had to redo 3 nails. Ugh! The colors are nice, perfect for Christmas.

It’s okay…
Affordable, with some flaws: If you don’t have a strong lamp or don’t cure it for 90s it will come out wrinkly. The polish is also a bit on the thin side but the pigment is still there compared to other brands on Amazon. More for the DIY girlies not professional use. Get the job done but I’ll look into the better white polish formulas like Cre8tion and Valentino.
