The Safari Ltd Incredible Creatures Maine Lobster was a nice purchase. They are plastic replicas, but hey look fairly decent. There is no way anyone would think these to be real lobsters up front looking at them. But from a distance, they look fairly real if you are far enough. The construction of it and the paint job on these are pretty good for plastic lobsters. They make great novelty pieces for the kitchen or for some other display where want to show some sea creatures or crustaceans. The top and bottom of the lobster look pretty good and decent looking. As for replicas, these are one of the betters ones I have seen. I recommend these plastic novelty lobsters if you are using them for a purpose that needs some near realism. But, they are plastic lobsters. And, expect them to be when you get them. If you are expecting something better looking, the picture of the item is on the item page and you can decide if you want to buy them. They look pretty much like they do in the photos.

Great quality! The attention to detail in the shape and coloring are awesome! It is made of heavy weight, very firm plastic, which makes it nice for craft projects (or in case you needed to throw it at an intruder).

Beautiful replica of a lobster except perhaps the color, which is a deep red. I overlooked the color because everything else about it is very realistic, front and back, even the weight of it, which feels to be around 1 pound. It appears to be made of hard, somewhat flexible plastic, but the feelers are made of a different material, can't describe it, but they feel like they are made of something organic, not plastic. This adds some sort of fascination to it.

It's cute

Does not really look like a Maine lobster proportionately to me, however I grew up lobster fishing in Maine. Also it is very hard I was expecting a more rubber texture.

Was purchased for use in a theatrical production.Pretty realistic looking and worked great for us. It is a bit small, but larger than anything else I could find. It is big enough to be easily identified from the audience however.
