This is actually three separate embroidery kits. Each one has a hoop, embroidery thread that has been sorted and numbered, needles, a black printed fabric, and instructions. They are packaged separately, so you could share a kit with a couple of other people. The three kits also share one set of snips, a needle threader, and a tiny seam ripper. The hoops are typical wooden hoops and can be used to display the piece once you’re finished with the embroidery, although I will probably use my own hoops to actually do the embroidery work as they are tighter than the kind of hoop supplied in the kit, although the kit hoop is will do if that’s all you have. I also love the black cloth and wish more embroidery kits would use black or colored cloth instead of the typical white, so this is a plus… the thread colors really pop on the black.Where this kit falls short are the instructions for the stitches. They are simple stitches, but for a beginner, the instructions are not super clear and the pictures are really tiny. However, you can easily find online instruction for these simple stitches so it’s not a huge problem. The instructions include a color key for what color to use where, and what stitches to use. Overall I like this kit and it will be a nice diversion from my usual crocheting.

I was so excited to try out these patterns. I have never done any embroidery, but the description said it was for beginners. The instructions might as well be in another language. I did not understand them at all. I'm sure if you have any idea how to embroider, this kit would be super easy, but I literally have no idea. I'm going to have to watch some YouTube tutorials or maybe find someone local to me that can show me what to do to get started.
