The seat is sturdy and solid, and looks like it should last a good, long time. I've never had much faith in plastic wall anchors, however, so I'd suggest tossing the included anchors and replacing them with winged anchor bolts or other mounting hardware. Otherwise, this is a great addition to a shower at what seems to be a reasonable price.

I love this shower bench, very good quality.

The bench is nicely made, but they give you plastic mounting supplies that will not support your weight at all. This thing is a complete safety hazard. Great way to make showers more dangerous!

It attaches to the shower wall and can fold up when not in use.Unfortunately the mounting instructions are misleading. It comes with plastic wall anchors so it makes you believe that is what you need to properly install this chair. But those anchors are not going to hold this chair in place.You will need to make sure this chair is being mounted to the studs in your wall. If the studs are not in the proper place, you will have to add studs to make sure this chair will support you.I am not using this chair in the shower, I use these type of chairs on the outside of my garage over the garden area. They mount directly to the wooden wall and studs in my garage. The seat is folded down and I use it to hold my heavy pots of flowers. I can stagger these shower chairs at different heights and cover the back of my garage in color with flowers.The shower chairs also work great in the barn. They can be folded up when not in use, but easily folded down to use them to hold your brushes, combs, or treats for the horses. Also a nice place to sit and rest and take off your mucking boots and slip on your riding boots.There are many uses for this chair and I do love the fact that it isn't made of wood. It looks like wood, but should hold up much longer than wood in a wet environment.I am happy with this chair and would order more for my gardening use. But I did take off stars because I feel the manual makes mounting this chair unsafe.
