Time saver!
Okay, so I've used both the standard connectors and now these push through connectors.. these are way way easier and if you read this, I will tell you that there are a couple of little tricks that will make these even better. One: have a tiny pair of needle nose pliers handy or maybe a pair of hemostats because some of the wires just don't wanna push through very easy. You'll need small enough pliers etc to reach into the connector and push the wire through, otherwise the wire will bend and you can't push it through. Two: have a good set of small sharp wire cutters handy to cut off the excess wire after you push them through but don't cut off the wires just yet, wait till you have all of them through the connector. This is important because they need to be sharp enough to cut off the tiny wires so they don't mash out and touch each other.Three: push and pull the wires out of the end far enough to pull the blue wire casing as far into the connector as possible, then cut off the excess wires sticking out the front of the connector. Then pull back a little tiny bit on the blue outer casing so the tiny wires are just barely back into the connector. Then crimp the spades down with the crimping tool.Using this technique will make it so much simpler and you'll have great connections!I hope this helps to save someone some time and effort!

Poor quality, in addition to not being "Pass-through"
Noting that these are not "Pass through", as others have said, I went ahead and tried to use a couple of them. The teeth were not held straight as the crimper tool pushed them into the wire, and as a result, some made good contact, but some basically missed the wire. If you can see the wire on the right side of the picture, you might be able to see what I am referring to. I have some other connectors from Ideal made in Taiwan with teeth that are just slightly staggered, helping them to pierce the wire, even if it is not perfectly in alignment. I like the low price, but the connection cannot be trusted. Amazon refunded the full price, so nothing lost, and some experience gained.

Works like it should.
I used this to repair a couple of damaged ethernet cables. I also made several patch cables with these. So far I've used 16 of these and they all work as they should. I haven't gone through the entire bag to check, but 16 for 16 are good.

Foolproof connectors
I have never made network cables before. I needed to run a cat6 cable from my office to my entertainment center and to rewire the center and another switch to tidy it up. I decided that making my own cables would be cheaper than buying over a dozen cables of the various lengths I needed. The cable connectors make the job much easier than the standard connectors. I strip plenty of cable so that when I push the strands through the connector I can easily see which wire is sitting where before crimping.I bought a Network Electronic Tools crimping tool and a CT468 tester.I am working with solid cat6 as I was running a long cable across the attic. I think working with stranded cable would be even easier as it is more pliable. So far all of my cables have worked first time, so I am happy.

Works as advertised
The product came in a bag instead of a bucket as the picture illustrates. This is probably because of the quantity ordered, and would have been useful to know beforehand for storage purpose. As far as the connectors themselves, they are much simpler and more forgiving than a traditional non-pass through connector, but trimming the ends of the wife’s required some trimming with a razor blade. There is probably a tool out there for this but as I only use it for home installation purposes, I do not have said tool. The build quality is good and the 3 prongs get a solid connection even with a bad crimp job.Works as advertised, just make sure you have a way to cut the ends flush with the connector.

These are not pass through connectors
Needed additional CAT5 connectors for an upcoming internet installation ,the provider finally got the fiber and modem installed in the house and now that I need to use these I come to find out that they are not the connectors I ordered they are not pass through they're just the regular old RJ45 connectors and because I didn't discern this earlier the return window haspassed needless to say I won't be ordering these from that provider ever again, Update: these aren't even any good as just regular RJ45 connectors the little arm that locks the plug into place doesn't work making these worthless
