Attracts Lots of Bugs
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The manufacturer's claim that the Miracle LED 604734 7 Watt Super Bug Light "Keep Bugs Away" was not true for us.As you can see in the video, the bulbs attract vast numbers of tiny leaf hoppers that play and die under the light, and there's a big pile of dead bugs to clean up each morning.

Bad bulbs, bad company
This is my first review, ever, because it's the first time I've been so thoroughly disappointied. I purchased three bulbs mid summer for outside sconces, and before Christmas they had started to fail. Bear in mind they are only on for 2-3 hours a day, and precious 'conventional' bulbs lasted for years. So in early December, when the first bulb failed, I contacted the company, MicacleLED. These bulbs are supposed to last 20,000+ hours and have a 1 year warranty. The only contact is an email address. It's been weeks and no one responded. Since then the other two bulbs have begun to fail. Waste of money and time (the fixtures I put them in aren't easy to access). Look elsewhere. These are bad bulbs sold by a bad company.

Lightbulb plug metal is abnormally prone to RUST, leads to shorting
I bought these 2 to 3 months ago and they have rusted to the point of shorting out or flashing on and off throughout the night. This is ridiculous for a lightbulb whose cost is exponentially higher than a regular lightbulb. Especially a lightbulb that is specifically designed for OUTDOOR porch use.Historically, I've had regular incandescent lightbulbs and CFL lightbulbs in the same outdoor sockets without rusting issues, EVER. You read correctly, incandescent and CFL lightbulbs intended for indoor use are performing better than this company's light bulb which is specifically designed for outdoor porch use. Having socket metal material that is outrageously prone to prolific rusting is a HUGE DESIGN FLAW.I will make use of the 1 year warranty but annoyed it will cost more money to ship back these faulty bulbs AND possibly they'll just send replacements with the same issue.I had bought lightbulbs four years ago from this company and they lasted for a really long time. It is really upsetting to have invested so much money with this company now ($60 for 4 bulbs) only to be stuck with the inconvenience and cost of warranty replacements, all because of a material design flaw that never should have made it to market.

Best Anti Bug light ever, well maybe not as they only last for 1 winter.
Live in WI up north. Have tried every color of bulb I could get my hands on, nothing worked very well. So I got 4 of these to see what would happen. I have had these now for 3 months, and not a one bug. Normally the bugs swarm at my front door as I leave lights on 24/7. However with these, I can open the door and nothing happens. They fit in the lamp housing fine, its just a slight yellow tint, I can see who's at the door great. Once its on for awhile it gets to its max brightness. So if you are looking for a outdoor light that dosent attract bugs, this is it hands down.4.11.2017 Update:So about 1 month ago, 1 light started flickering, now 3 out of 4 are doing it. So They work great with the bugs, however they dont last more than 1 Wisconsin winter. Too bad as they are not cheap. Now I have to look for something else I guess.

Bulbs do not last
When we first put the bulbs in we loved them. Nice soft light and the bug problem was eliminated. But after about 8 weeks or so, it started flashing on and off. We removed the bulb and part of the base was all rusted! Bug lights are for outdoor use so they should be able to handle moisture. It never received any direct rain but it is humid here. I packaged it up and sent it back to the company and they replaced it with no questions asked. This one lasted about 3 or 4 months and then the same flashing started. The base was rusted same as the first. Fortunately it did not ruin the light! My neighbor ordered the same bulbs and same thing happened to them. I guess I could keep returning them but the shipping cost isn't worth it anymore. These just are not a good bulb and at this price I would have expected much more.

So far so good.
So far so good. No complaints about the bulb so far. I have wetlands in behind my house and this bulb is on the back porch so this summer will be a good test for it. Others have asked for the color of the bulb so I am uploading a picture. The color is def. not as yellow as a typical yellow bug bulb.

BURNED BY THE MARKETING WHEN LIGHT BURNED OUT IN 6 WEEKS!
This light worked great at limiting bugs around the porch while providing decent illumination, BUT... at nearly $30.00 for two bulbs this item isn't ready for market. Sure, there is a one year warranty claim if I want to pay to ship It to MiracleLED. Based on the numerous other reviews with similar statements, I'll cut my losses. My recommendation is to pass on this piece of crap.

Miracle Bug Bulbs
I purchased two of these bulbs for a porch light. The problem started when I had installed a new light fixture with the new 'cool white' LED bulbs, which attracted swarms of insects. Who knew that bugs liked cool white bulbs. I turned the light off and eventually replaced the bulb with one of these 'Miracle' bulbs. The immediate result was a significant (maybe 75%) reduction in the amount of bugs attracted by the light.I would have rated this bulb 5 stars if everything had stayed the same, but unfortunately the bulb failed after just 5 months. The bulb was on a photocell so the run hours were limited and it did not experience an excessive amount of cycling. This seems to be a pattern for many expensive LEDs - over promise performance & under deliver.
