Great MP3 player holder!!
I actually got this to use as an MP3 player carrier for when using one that doesn't have a built in clip. Works great for those longer body slimline devices such as the AGPtEK A02. I also fit my knife and some earbuds in the main compartments. It's lightweight, sturdy and the clip secures to my work pants well. This can easily be used with some small tools too. The velcro is pretty strong and stays closed. Awesome and a great price for the great quality.

CLC Tool pouch.
This CLC 1104 belt tool pouch is designed very well! I'm able to carry my Leatherman Super Tool 300 in the back pouch and in the other back pouch I place my SOG Power Pint. I'm able to carry two small flashlights and ink pen and small Sharpie along with my comb and knife sharpener. Very pleased with the construction of this tool pouch!

Big enough for stuff
This pouch is large enough for all of my "stuff". I keep a Gerber multi-tool in one of the inner pockets, and a Swiss Army knife in the other inner pocket. There is also a larger inner pocket that will hold an iPhone or slightly larger device quite nicely. I am using this for a stylus that I use. I will likely be putting a writing pad or something in that space for now. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the almost useless (to me) external plastic snap hook. I suppose I could hang a key ring on this, but I don't like that sort of thing. I'll probably remove this snap hook. The other reason is actually the size. Due to the size of the Swiss Army knife and the relative size of the pocket, the knife sort of slips down and is hard to remove. I'm going to take another reviewer's idea and put some wadded up aluminum foil in the bottom of that pocket to raise up the knife for easier removal. My last observation about "cons" is the velcro closure. My experience with velcro has not been good. I find the stuff wears out too quickly. However I will just replace the velcro with a magnetic closure when this happens and all will be fine. There are a multitude of attachment options. A metal clip, a sort of vertical area where you can attach to suspenders, or the one I use, an integral fabric belt loop which fits perfectly on my belt. Nice and secure, no worries about losing the pouch or its contents. There is also a fabric sheath that you could use for a AA or AAA Mini-Maglite. Not a bad item, and worth the money in my opinion.

Bought two, one modified for Phone and the other left normal for tools
For its intended shape? Its a good multi-tool holder, though I wouldn't trust my smartphone in its large pouch. That said, its a great tool pouch to hold any various odds and ends as I work on something. Screwdrives, bits, multi-tool, light, etc. Its the reason why I bought two, one because I can always use this to store/wear my more common tools I need. In my altered shape? I changed things literally to make it into a phone holster + phone accessory holster. I cut the stitching in the back "two" pockets to turn it into a single large pocket, then had a thick microfiber cloth (originally for washing dishes as a mixture of cloth and sponge) sewn as a lining for the pocket. Further, I removed the plastic clip on the front for a metal carabiner. The end result? A smartphone holster that can carry my phone in the microfiber and cushioned back pocket, with the screen facing inward, a front pocket that can either hold my charge + cord and bluetooth headset (With or without a hard eyeglasses case for protection) or my Moga (Bluetooth Gamepad), a spot to store my Leatherman Sidekick (its got a clip that can use the "Flashlight holder" to hang onto), and hang my keys (carabiner spot). Basically, an extra set of pockets dedicated to my Moto X and accessories alone for when wearing jeans/shorts. I do have a regular leather phone holster for when I'm wearing anything other then jeans though. Perfect, especially as the weather is going to warm up soon to the point that I can't bring a jacket around anymore for all the extra pockets it brings. While I wouldn't recommend using this tool holder for your smartphone + tools in its normal configuration (either the screen faces the world and potentially bumping into things, or its being pressed up against whats in the small pockets ... yikes.), its durable, more pockets, and is easily altered into carrying exactly what you need.

Best belt phone holder I've had yet.
Been using this for a few weeks now for my phone. I have a large phone in a case and it fits in this perfectly. The metal clip is good but if it gets caught on something it will pop off the belt so I just use the belt loop option and thays the 1 and only negative thing I have to say about it. It's durable with plenty of room. Durable material and construction. The velcro keeps my phone secure and is easy to open/close

Sturdy and useful belt pouch, with some caveats
UPDATE: After about a year, the bottom has completely frayed away from carrying my Leatherman Surge. I’m knocking my review down to 3 stars. At least it’s not that expensive. This belt pouch has three compartments, two small ones suitable for several pens each, and a larger pocket that can fit a large multi tool and a few other items. I keep a Leatherman tool, two of the screwdriver bit sets for it, and a couple of pens in there. My Mini Maglite flashlight fits nicely in the exterior loop on the pouch. There is both a belt loop and clip on the back. I only use the loop, so I can't speak of the utility of the clip. The pouch is made from thick fabric, and it seems to be very sturdy. I've been wearing it every day since I bought it and it seems to be holding up very well. (UPDATE: lasted about 11 months before the bottom fell out from wear.) In the end, it does what it says, provides a storage place for a bunch of tools that I don't want to stick in my pockets. UPDATE: I still think it’s a good size and useful, but I wish it had lasted more than 11 months. At least it was economical.

Will haul a Motorola Nexus 6, with Project Fi case, snugly in the big pocket
Not my first CLC product, won't be my last. Very much like my backpack/toolbox/laptop pouch from CLC, it's not leather. I don't know why they have Leathercraft in their name, since I've never seen a CLC product actually made of leather. That said, it (and the backpack) wear very much like leather. Kinda stiff and hard to work with at first, but this pouch has about 12 weeks on it, the backpack has over a year on it, and neither are even showing a loose seam. They both got more flexible over time, and the tools seem to almost snap into place in them after a few weeks. This pouch in particular goes everywhere with me, it managed to eliminate the sheath for my leatherman, my MagLite, and the holster for my oversized (Motorola Nexus 6, with Project Fi case) cell phone. On top of all of that, it holds a black sharpie, a silver sharpie, two ballpoint pens and a mechanical pencil, and only adds about 3" to my overall width. Make no mistake, it's NOT light with that much in it; and it took some practice to get the Nexus 6 into it one-handed, but it holds all of that well enough to be a daily driver. Given what I've just told you about what I haul everywhere with me, and my toolbox/backpack; yes, you can safely assume I have a very active job, and not once have I had any qualms about my beloved Nexus falling out of it. I can actually get 2/3 of the phone into the big pouch. The top of it comes to the red band in the flashlight on the Amazon pic, and the Velcro still has a 100% engagement patch, so it is completely closed. The one (very very tiny) gripe I had was that the narrow tool/pen/pencil pockets are deep enough that I lost my Leatherman Wave in it the first time I put it in there. Once I got it out, I folded a paper towel down to a 1" strip and rolled it to the diameter of my thumb (say 3/4") and wrapped it tightly with electrical tape. I then stuffed the electrical tape/towel cylinder, on its side, down into the bottom of the pocket I wanted to use for my leatherman; causing the leatherman to stick up about 1/2" past the top (so I could get a grip on it to pull it out). Since I'd define my tiny gripe as more of a "need to modify a Multi-purpose pouch", it didn't cost it a star. It says right on the description "Multi-Purpose" meaning any expectations I'd have of a custom fit would be somewhat ridiculous. Besides, show me some other options for hauling around a Nexus 6 w/case, that aren't just as bulky if not more so, and I'll show you a specialty pouch that won't carry your pens, flashlight and multi-tool. Considering you'll probably get that solution for the same price as this.... No-Brainer. Only thing I can't speak to is the key clip. Only used it for about a week when I was forced to use a car that wasn't mine. It worked, I could operate it one-handed, but I didn't use it enough to get a feel for long-term wear or durability. In the unlikely event that it wears out on me, I'd absolutely buy it again; and more importantly, I'd absolutely recommend it to someone I like who has a phablet, multitools and pens.

Great casual phone holster.
Ok so since I have used and purchased three of these in the past five years, I figured it’s time to write a review. Since finding these tool holders, that I use as a phone holster I have been through three of them. Three of them because I use them almost every day they’re on my hip when I roll around on the ground working on things at when I’m doing physical labor and they still hold up. The first one that I purchased, the Velcro was almost completely gone before the side finally wore out, that one made it three years. The next one I still have, but it’s Velcro is getting a little weak and I just purchased another. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it fits in this carrier with a tube of pepper spray and a small Swiss knife. It’s my every day Carry! I have yet to find another tool holster/phone holster that is as small as this one and works as well. I am very happy with the craftsmanship and design.
