I wear my hair in a ponytail for work almost every day and these are the only ties I use. They provide a firm hold without tugging my hair, and they really resist tangling and breakage, even when I pull them out sloppily. Highly recommend.

Best ponytail holder for thick but super slippery hair. My hair is straight and the individual stands are super fine but there is just so much of it! These pony holders stay put and don’t snag. I bought this set for my daughter who has similar hair but with more wave and she loves them too.

So strange to get compliments on a fairly basic hair tie but I actually have! I live in Florida and it's hot. I prefer to wear my hair down so I don't leave home without a hair tie on my wrist. Not the most professional look but neither is sweating to death with my hair sticking all over my face and back. This hair tie has a cute bead and nice fabric so it kind of looks like a little red bracelet. I guess that's why people complement it which I find funny in a way. I have very thick hair past my shoulders and this works great.

The pastel set is so pretty. Gentle on hair, but strong enough to hold thick hair easily. I purchased the pastel set for my granddaughter who has thick light strawberry blonde hair. I use the black ones nearly every day. They hold up great but keep them away from velcro, Fitbit metal wrist bands, and watches. They snag and then don't look as nice. I keep them on an old hairband ring from Walmart and keep an extra in my purse, car, and by my computer desk. My only con is I think they are overpriced.

These hair ties are Wesome!! They hold thick hair, don’t slip and maintain their shape. My daughter’s hair is thinner than mine and they are great in her hair as well!! They don’t tear your hair out either when you take them out. Love these ties!

These are awesome. There are a ton of great products out there, but many of them aren't geared towards thick hair. My hair is super long and thick (like freaking horse hair), and these hair ties are perfect for keeping my hair up without hurting. No slipping, no hair breakage, except for the inevitable small amount that happens every time you put your hair up/take it down, NO SNAPPING APART AND FLYING ACROSS THE ROOM, no metal clasp, and no hardcore stretching out (they do a tiny bit, but that is normal). They have tons of different colors, and they fit around my wrist just fine. Spend a few extra bucks and buy these, they last for a really long time. I ALWAYS have a few of these and a few spin pins (if you wear buns, check them out; they will change your life) in my purse at all times.
