Just like the one that came with it.
I couldn’t figure out why my headphones would glitch in one ear, even with a new battery. It got worse & noticed that orientation into the iPad affected it. Tried some double prong chords but that made it worse. Ordered this chord hoping to get my headphones back to normal & it worked perfectly. No issues anymore. Yay. Fit & finish appear fine too.

Excellent replacement for the original cable for my QC2 Bose headphones
With so much use after a decade or two, the cable for my QC2 headphones finally broke. I noted that reviews for this product mentioned a different Bose model than the QC2, with a few reviews mentioning that the product also works for the QC2. Indeed, it does. To Bose's credit, they retained the same connection for the new headphone model mentioned in the reviews as was used for the QC2. My headphones are back in service.

Very happy I did not have to repalce my expensive headset. A cheap and complete fix for me.
I was unsure why my headset was not working but realized it may be this wire when I temporarily heard sound while trying to clean the battery terminals etc.. My headset is 15 years old and I already replaced the ear padding etc several times. It now works perfect and is as comfortable as new headset for a very low price.

So happy with the replacement for my Bose earphones. The sound is great. I was upset when my cat chewed the original ones and then remembered Amazon. Very pleased with the price as well.

Fits the form and function of the Bose cable

Did not work straight out of the package
I carefully plugged in this cord to my Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones, but all I get out of them is a garbled, muffled, barely audible sound. Some of it sounds like I am listening underwater, some of it sounds like I am only getting part of a stereo channel. there is no obvious damage or flaw. The plugs at both ends seem to be exactly like my old cord. To sum it all up, I am very unhappy and want a refund.
