Flatiron Pepper Co, Dark and Smoky Premium Smoked Chile Flakes. Chipotle - Ancho - Habanero

I tried this on a slice of pizza at my local pizza place, Slyce. It was so good that I couldn't stop thinking about it and ordered my own. It's got a great umami, smoky, slightly spicy flavor that brings out the best in pizza, burgers, and even mashed potatoes and gravy (as we tried for Thanksgiving). Highly recommend! Will be buying regularly.

I have all the Flatiron flavors now. The smoky has a nice kick to it with a smooth smoke flavor. So far it has been great on eggs, salad, pizza, and Im sure I will find more uses.

This stuff is great!!! I used to go thru copious amounts of red pepper flakes. Then, I saw someone talking about this on YouTube; how it has more actual flavor, and decided to order a bottle. Because it is made with more than one kind of kind pepper, it provides different levels of heat all in one product. It is mildly smokey, and does bring some heat. I use it in macaroni and cheese, on pizza, and stir it into butter to finish a good steak. Heat is subjective, I’d say a little goes a long way, and you really should try this. No more red pepper flakes!

It's kind of stupid how tasty this is. I was gifted a variety pack of three different flavors and I like them all, but this is my favorite! It's just the right blend of smoky and a little spicy fo so many things. I add this to soup, to steak, to hamburger to POPCORN, you name it, it will be good. Okay, probably not on dessert sweets, but lets not be silly, okay? Is it pricey? A bit. Is it worth it? Well, I bought some for myself to replace what I had used up, so yeah, worth! Get it. Use it. Love it.

This pepper blend smells great and has good flavor but I found it to not have enough spiciness. I expected more from the habanero. I eat spicy foods all the time, so maybe my palate is jaded.
