I am a lice technician and this is incredibly helpful. I need to examine teeny-tiny things and find out if it's a piece of lint or a lice egg. It's really fun and unbelievable quality. Kids love it. My only complaint is that it's actually TOO magnifying. When looking at a full grown louse, it's too big to fit the entire bug on the screen. Not a dealbreaker, but I would prefer an option for 500x OR a larger screen.

This thing is so cool. Bought for grandson but I tried it out first. This toy has unbelievable magnifying power and I was magnifying insects, jeans, carpet, etc.Amazing toy that even adults will love.

Actually a lot of fun for adults, too. Image quality won't match a "real" microscope, but it's easy to use and plenty good enough for children.

Purchased for my five-year-old granddaughter, but it was the adults in the room that ended up enjoying the gift! We were all amazed at how well it works. Price was great. Great gift for little or big kids!
