Better than All Clad
I have had this skillet for about two months and have used it at least once every day. My other non stick skillet is a 12 inch All Clad D5 which was a lot more expensive and is already showing a lot of wear after a couple of years. My experience with this skillet is only on an induction cooktop but I expect that it would perform equally well with gas or electric. Specific features are: heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly, flat, non-stick works great and seems quite durable, relatively lightweight. Curvature of sides makes it easier to “shake and flip” sautéed items. I liked it so much that I ordered the 8 inch version as well. Quality is excellent (made in Brazil— better steel) and exterior remains bright and shiny. If you are looking for a non-stick skillet you will not be disappointed with this series and Tramontina in general.

Very difficult if not impossible to fry eggs in.
This is the absolute worse pan to cook fried eggs in. No matter how much or how little butter you use, the eggs will stick to the pan, making a huge mess. I have tried starting the pan on a very low heat, but it made no difference. I wanted to return this pan, but the date for return had gone by. The pan is ok for other foods you may want to saute or fry other foods, but I was specifically looking for a good pan to fry eggs in, and this is not it!!

Where have these pans been?
We purchased this 12" pan with the 8" as a set. Cut to the chase, these pans are amazing. We have a gas stove (for reference). The build quality is 5 star, the steel core heats very evenly and quickly and unlike aluminum pans, does not take a drastic temperature drop when you put food in it to cook. Handles are solid and very smooth shape and easy to grasp and hold. Cleanup is a breeze even when you cook things that can 'stick' during a cooking process. I do have ONE complaint, and that I didn't know about these pans sooner and purchased them much sooner - we messed around with the chemical coated aluminum pans that started failing within 3-6 months of use and who knows what materials were cast off into the cooking. For cooking 'oils' we cook exclusively with butter and or grass-fed tallow. We only use these pans for medium and lower heat, nothing SUPER hot - for that level of cooking I use cast iron exclusively. We hand wash once the pans are cool and only use non-metal utensils. Ive been passionate about cooking for decades and tried just about everything out there and these + my cast iron is the ONLY thing I will now use, period. Amazing pans, lifetime warranty, crazy high quality and cook and clean like a dream.

No worse than other ceramic pans
After a few months at most, the pan loses its non-stick quality. It’s no worse than similar (and more expensive) products. Ceramic is no replacement for teflon and I would not buy one again. Cast iron is heavy, but these days it can’t be beat.

Finally, a good non stick frypan that doesn't threaten to wear out quickly (and poisonously?)
I love this pan, i have been babying it a bit because I don't want it to spoil. It heats evenly, and cleans easily, with a genuine no stick surface. I had never tried ceramic surface before, I am very pleased with it.

Beautiful Pans Great for Induction Cooktops
Beautiful pans, nice ceramic nonstick layer cooks food evenly heats quickly! I’ve purchased both 10 inch and 12 inch soon to purchase the 8 inch for smaller portions. Works great on induction, see video! I highly recommend these pans! In regards to the reviews that were not good on these, I’m wondering if the owners took care of their cookware? You want to use silicone or rubber spatulas do not use metal utensils on the pans.

Bad quality, more effort for more stick.
Uneven heating, nonstick worked for maybe 3 months. I contacted Tramontina for a refund but they just said "I'm using it incorrectly, we can send you a new pan." I bought the 8 inch and this 12 inch, both of which have lasted less than 6 months. I have stainless steel pans. They can become nonstick with some work. But I buy non stick pans mainly for eggs. Tramontina suggested I use the same effort as stainless steel to achieve the non stick functionality. Why would I want a pan that needs the effort of stainless steel but without the great heating qualities or sturdiness of stainless steel? Seems like a lose lose. Looking for a new pan now. Tramontina- do not reach out to me if you're just going to offer me a new pan. I'll take my money back though.

Good pan for the price.
Good pan for the money. After several months I am noticing a few chips in the non stick surface. But not terribly so.
