I'm amazed at the distance I can get with this thing. I use the bright red pinpoint dot to scare away birds, and pin a "mark" on the rude motorcyclists who occasionally motor up and down the street at 2am. Let them think the Terminator is targeting them from afar!

First, this is a pretty good laser. Drives the dogs crazy (lol) and can reach across the street during in an overcast. However, I have some issues. First, they include a slip of paper stating to "flip over and follow the 3 steps for usage guidelines". Fortunately, it's not difficult to operate, but the reverse side has you downloading an app then scanning a QR code. I don't want to have to install yet another app and I'm very wary with signing up for anything in this day and age of data brokers. Since they couldn't be bothered with providing instructions, I'll leave some below. Second, although it's rechargeable, it's a bit heavy and long to put into a USB slot. The whole levers/fulcrums in physics thing. It'll likely loosen up any slot you place it in over time. Third, since not all USB slots are orientated the same way, the light that shows it's charged may or may not be convenient to see. They should have placed the light on the side to better accommodate the orientation of the plug someone may be using. And lastly, the lanyard isn't adjustable and is too small to fit over adult hands; and I'm not a big guy. Other than that, it does what I need it to do. But I can only give it an average rating. Instructions: 1. The silver cap provides a kaleidoscope pattern that can be adjusted by twisting the textured surface. 2. Remove the silver cap by unscrewing by holding the smooth surface. 3. Unscrew black cap to expose USB plug for charging. Charged light is on opposite side of power button. 3 easy steps and no need to use your cell phone to download an app and scan a QR code.

My daughter has been asking for a long time for one of these , this thing might been small but it is very mighty the brightness that it can shine and how far it can shine is amazing. And a plus u just plug it up to a charger box and let it charge no changing the batteries. Definitely worth the buy .

Perfect to play with your cat. Better than those battery operated ones.
