DIY welder, it works very well, only the protective plastic of the hose is easy to burn, but I solved that with a cover

I am a 30 year professional welder. I purchased this machine to mig weld light weight aluminum projects at home. This machine will not weld aluminum at their suggested parameters or any other parameters for that matter. I waited weeks for delivery and I’m sorely disappointed in its lack of ability to do even remotely what it says it will. If you’re trying to weld aluminum….Buy something else.

I got the AZZUNO Aluminum MIG Welder 155 Amp to do aluminum welding, but the aluminum wire will not feed and jam. I am using .035-diameter aluminum wire and it jams about a foot before the tip. I tried manually feeding the wire, I got it through, but had issues at the last foot. It is advertised as an Aluminum MIG Welder and a spool gun is not needed. Disappointed and not sure if I should keep it.

It's a nice machine for the price. But I'm still having issues with setting it up for aluminum mig. Does anyone have any pointers

Iv been welding after work for over 2.5 years and its held up beyond my expectations. Great to learn on but now it's tome to try the aluminum welding unit from them

I purchased this welder to weld stainless steel flux core. It welds it like a dream. The stick function is great. It will weld on the hot side of an 1/8 rods. I upgraded the ground cable and clamp to something better. I tried turning it down to lowest setting to see how thin it will weld. Using .030 flux core it has a feature that basically stitch welds and keeps you from burning thru. I like this feature. It can weld really really thin metal.I found a few things so far I didn't like:. Loading the wire in that tight space is challenging but can be done. I didn't pay a lot for this welder and wasn't expecting a lot. I have had great luck with Azzuno as this is my fourth purchase from them. I haven't tried aluminum welding or tig with it yet but so far this little guy has exceeded my expectations.
