Improvement on an already great game
One of my favorite games. Quick setup with this insert, one of the best economic games ever made. This version improves my one complaint with the older versions of the game by replacing the paper money with heavy chips.

Beautiful Presentation
I had the original Aquire and enjoyed it for many years. However, this Anniversary Edition is amazing! Each part is well-built and thought out. The chips are heavy-duty and a nice touch over the paper. The box is set up to organize each part during the game's play. The price is a little heavy, too, but it's well worth it.

Fantastic Game
First of all, I love Acquire. It is one of the first boardgames I learned to play as a child. I have played every edition since the first. The game is 5 stars. The issue I have is that this edition comes at a premium price, but not all components are premium. The money is awesome! Much better than the paper bills from before. The board is the same as last edition, but with 60th Anniversary printed on the front. Definitely not premium. The tiles are the same. I prefer the first edition for board/tiles. The part that most upsets me, and causes this game to lose a star, is due to the cheap, poorly made property cards. $100 and one of the major components of the game is the flimsy, garbage property cards. So, so, so poorly made. So, so, so CHEAP. Not laminated. Not on thick paper. Not properly finished. Other than the property cards, this is a 5 star game.

Exactly as advertised
We got this for family game night. We all live if different parts of the country and our dad has the original aquire from his father. This one is the exact same minus it being chips for money which is easier and saxton instead of luxor

Nothing to get excited over
For being the 60th anniversary and charging a premium I was expecting more from them. The only thing they did was change the money from paper to poker chips. I have been playing this game since I was a teenager and now I am in my forty's. I was hoping the cards would be thicker, more details on the property pieces, they could have even been metal. for the company not to get creative and celebrate this game was a let down. Buy the original, the 60th will disappoint you.
