Heats water very fast. I use it everyday.

This thing is great. It does exactly what it is supposed to, and the blue light makes it easy to see if it is on or not. I've made many cups of tea with no issues so far. Good purchase.

I love that I can boil water quickly and since I do not have a stove in this efficiency suite, it is perfect.

Plastic smells really strongly, won't automatically shut off if the lid is up, but leaving the lid down just means really stinky plastic is being bathed in boiling hot steam which is entering the water that is used for tea, which is disgusting and probably not the healthiest..

Base is very light...cord is short and heavy so when pot is lifted from unit the base isnt staying in place. I love the blue lights it looks great when heating.

The mount did not connect. I had to try to fix the mount and 1 screw mount was Street so I could not make it tighter. Still kept it and it works after I fixed it.
