Comfortable and light but needs tweaking for the blackout pattern
These blackout fog glasses (bloggles?) are comfortable and high quality but have a design issue that hinders their intended use. The plastic lenses are clear and distortion free for the non-blackout portion. I found that these are very comfortable and the rubber coated arms sit securely over the ears with no tendency to slip. Included in the package is a sturdy plastic carry case, a cleaning cloth, neck strap and the glasses. Unfortunately, the clear portions of the lenses are too large to be useful as an IFR training aid. With the glasses seated on the bridge of the nose, it is possible to see out of the entire windscreen as well as the intended aircraft instrumentation. The only way that the blackout pattern works is if the glasses are seated on the tip of the nose like readers. This is easily fixable with electrical tape to reduce the height of the clear portions of the lenses but this should not be required.

Easy to use foggles fit well under headset
I like these because the black version (as opposed to other brands with the foggy plastic) makes it easier to focus on simulating IMC. Easier than a hood because you dont have to remove your headset to use them.

Exactly what I needed
Worked great. I prefer to have my own vs sharing the 2 pair at school.

Not designed very well
I'm not sure what happened with the manufacturers of IFR training glasses. None of them know that you are supposed to limit forward vision and only be able to see downward. These glasses don't block your forward vision at all; you can see out front just fine unless you move them to the tip of your nose. The plastic also is very thin and cheap.

Good foggles
Nice fogless. Comes with cleaning cloth and hard case. Fits comfortably, its light and works as intended. Now i got these for some recurrent training because the glare when you got nice weather with bright sunshine is quite annoying with the white frosted glasses. Quality is like others i have used and the price seems on par. The hard case will probably help with keeping it safe in the flightbag for some time..

Quality pair of foggles
This is a good pair of training foggles. They block out what they should and allow clear visuals of the cockpit.

Worked for IFR training
If a pilot studying for IFR training these may be what you need. The happen to fit my son's face perfectly, however they don't fit mine. For me it is too easy to look above the instruments and see outside the plane. To the point, these glasses will work for some people but not for others, it depends on your face. So, make sure you are prepared to return them if they don't work for you.
