I received this last week. I have very thick long hair and sometimes the tangles get bad especially underneath. I have a couple really nice brushes but they aren’t made for detangling and I had an especially bad knot so I decided to do some research on Amazon for detangling brushes. I came across this one and I was intrigued by the design - like how it’s separate lines of bristles with the end of the brush being open. Ok, so how well does it work? Really great, actually! My first impression was that it’s very light. When I ran it through my hair I noticed how good the bristles felt on my scalp - like a head scratch. As I brushed through my thick tangly hair, the separate little plastic prongs I guess you’d call them? Well, they bend as you brush - it’s hard to explain but that feels good too! It’s going through my tangles but the tangles aren’t getting caught and causing discomfort because the brush is bendy. I got through my tangles and I was very impressed. Also, I shed a lot and when I was done, the excess hair came out very easily in one take leaving no strands behind ~ the fact it’s easy to clean is a nice bonus because most brushes take more effort. Ok, so the only thing I don’t love is the color. When deciding to purchase it, I liked the yellow color as it looked like it’d match my yellow dry bar brush which is a true yellow but it doesn’t. It’s a pastel yellow. I had wanted to give this as a gift to my nephew who has long blonde hair and who’s favorite color is yellow but he’s 12 and this pastel color is a little too feminine for him I think. I hope the company either corrects the photos online or starts making these in the true yellow. If I could deduct a half star I would but since I can’t, I think a 5 star rating is more appropriate than a 4 star rating. If you’re on the fence, give it a shot!

My hair is so thin and always breaking but with this brush I lose a lot less hair. It works through the tangles effectively without pulling.

For such a simple concept this brush is amazing! It's super gentle on the hair, feels great on the scalp and a less thought of pro is how easy it is to clean! No more little tiny lint/hairballs caught on the bristles that never come off. I bought one for myself and bought one for my daughter as a stocking stuffer :).

I am obsessed with this brush. I have medium thickness hair and it works perfect to detangle my hair while not ripping it out. I also love how there is a slit curve to the bristle side of the brush so it massages your scalp while you brush.

I have naturally straight, thick hair. My hair loves to get tangled by the end of the day as I chase toddlers around most of the day. I was needing a new brush because my old one was looking ragged. The reason I wanted to try this is because I don’t like using round brushes and I needed a brush that was conducive with my blow dryer. Definitely checked the box for that! I love that my blow dryer works so well - definitely saves me time in the mornings! This brush is also really good at getting out little tiny knots that like to hide behind my ears or at the base of my neck. And the color is so cute! I went with the lilac purple and I love it. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because it is not actually pain-free like it says on the packaging. Granted, with all the running around I do during the day, I don’t expect anything to actually get all my tangles out pain-free. Overall, highly recommend for a new brush if you’re looking for one that gets out all the knots! Great size for traveling too.

Wow - so impressed with this brush. Bought for my daughter as a present- but will definitely purchase another for myself. So gentle on the scalp and doesn’t tug or pull hair out when brushing wet or dry hair. Feels durable but soft at the same time. Materials feel good quality. Definitely much superior to the Tangle Teezers which I have purchased previously. Seems like good value for money and would recommend for use on longer hair.
