This may be the EASIEST replacement item for a faulty/expired detector in an RV!!!It exactly matched the square size of my OE detector and the 4 x screw holes for the mounting screws were also an EXACT match. On top of that, the detector comes with REALLY nice, easy, connector block with the little locking levers to connect the wires to....one simply flicks the little plastic lever open on the conenctor, inserts the bare wire end (one red and two white wires go into the red and white connector block), and flick the lever closed again. Takes 5 seconds, and a very secure connection is made!VERY easy replacement. I highly recommend this item if your OE detector is at end of life or is screaming at you due to a worn out sensor module.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have a camper van, so I had separate CO and combustable gas detectors. I see they make combo units now, so I got this one. I see that these come in several sizes, where the only difference it the trim piece. The actual unit fits inside the larger trim piece like a jigsaw puzzle piece. I could have purchased one with a smaller outer piece to fit better, and still have the same functionality. Look carefully and make sure you get the one that fits your application the best. These last 5 years.
