I love dragonfruit and these were so good, best in yogurt or sherbert.

The pieces were crushed in the packaging when they arrived so it was more powdery texture than actual pieces as shown in product image.

These must've gotten wet at some point or were very poorly stored because when they arrived, they were a giant damp mass clumped together. Unusable and they have a funky smell now. Won't be getting them again.

Dragon fruit has such an exotic appearance and the freeze-dried form changes the fruit eating experience to something new and different. The freeze-dried fruit cubes arrived in a flat looking storage package and inside was an assortment of shape oddities of the dragon fruit. Has a lightly sweet flavor and crunchy texture like dried marshmallows. These are great to snack on as is or what I did was add them into strawberry yogurt cups and mix it in to eat with the sweet tangy strawberry yogurt and the soft crunchy dragon fruit cubes.

I ordered Freeze-Dried Red Dragon Fruit Cubes – 100% Pure, Naturally Sweet & Delicious, No Added Sugar or Preservatives, Perfect for Snacking, Smoothies, Cocktails, & Pink Drinks – Healthy, Nutrient-Rich, Perfect Bite SizeThese came and were very crispy and crunchy exactly what you would expect from good quality freeze dried fruit.They were sealed well in the bag and while some were crushed, and there was some powder at the bottom most of them were intact.Dragon fruit isn’t super sweet or flavorful on its own so naturally the freeze dried version isn’t going to be much different. I don’t feel these are perfect for snacking, for us atleast. I feel these have a better application in or on things like on top of a salad or tossed in a drink for some texture.If you liked things that aren’t sweet then perhaps snacking on them would be good, but just wanted to put it out there if you’re expecting a sweet snacking treat like you would from freeze dried apples or pineapple. These are less sweet than that.But that has nothing to do with the brand that’s just dragon fruit itself.The brand itself seems good quality and we are happy with what we got.It is important to know that once you open them, you need to make sure they are 100% airtight and you squeeze the air out of them as much as possible when resealing. Any air left in the bag or exposure to air will cause them to absorb the moisture from the air and make them chewy.

These fruit cubes have a satisfying freeze-dried crunch, but I find the flavor to be lacking. I've had the type of dragonfruit with white flesh and while its flavor is mild, it does have some sweetness to it. This dark pink flesh dragonfruit has minimal sweetness and has a strong vegetal flavor. Perhaps I would enjoy eating these on a leafy green salad. I can't get over the thought of the vegetable taste when enjoying it by the handful and hoping that it has more of a fruity taste. My husband, who is a bit more open-minded with food than I am, agreed that the taste on these is lacking.

These freeze dried dragon cubes are great for infusing drinks. However, the bag is quite small, and a lot of the cubes were crushed by the time the pack got to me.

These freeze-dried cubes come in a resealable package. There are both manufacturing and best-by dates on the front. The package I received was manufactured about two months before I received it, and good for around another year and a half. I think that is plenty of time to use this.You can eat these alone, but personally I don't love the taste of dragonfruit by itself. However, these are great to add to smoothies, or as a crunchy topping on yogurt and such.
