So glad to have found this sunscreen that is acne safe, EWG certified, and has a matte finish on my skin. Acne safe: I have been using this on my face daily for 5 months without it triggering any breakouts. Matte finish: initially it has a very white cast and seems like it isn’t moist enough to rub in. But if I just pat and rub it in a little, it will blend into light skin with olive undertone, leaving a matte finish that doesn’t turn oily or look too moisturized during the day, even if I’m sweating.

Great sunscreen! It feels good to put something non toxic on my face. The only downside is you need to really rub it in otherwise you look a little ghostly, lol

I was very excited to use this sunscreen based on the high EWG rating. I'm a big fan of the brand, Attitude and own several of their household and personal care products. I tried the sunscreen while visiting Hilton Head, SC.... I spent 4 hours at the pool and was diligently reapplying every 90 minutes (FYI - instructions on the bottle say to reapply every 2 hours). Well, as you can see in the photo, I still got very burnt. I really wanted to love this sunscreen, however I'm extremely disappointed. Also it's worth noting that the white cast isn't too severe when you first apply, however upon reapplying at later increments, the sunscreen becomes increasingly harder to rub in. As you layer more and more, the sunscreen itself pills, leaving streaks.

From my daughter - I loved that this product is EWG certified. I have used it twice so far now, and personally did not need to reapply after 3 hours and being in/out of water. It is very thick and will leave a white cast if it’s not rubbed in completely, I use a spray bottle to moisten my skin first before rubbing in the lotion. The first time I used I was very thorough in my application, to the point it felt like a workout (being pregnant lol), but didn’t rub it in as much the second time and the white case was pretty noticeable. You definitely want to rub it in completely when first applied.

This is really nice mineral sunscreen (clean ingredients, unscented) but there's jsut no such thing as mineral sunscreen from a bottle that doesn't give a whitecast. Unless you're applying in pea size increments all over your body (who has time for that) it never fully spreads out from the spot you apply it to. I did however also purchase the Altitude stick which I'm loving! The nature of the stick allows you to easily spread a thin layer all over, that actually can be rubbed in for minimal white cast.

I purchased this over a year ago and hope they have changed the quality and composition of the cream: I can only give this three stars for several reasons: Pros: Has no toxic chemicals, hypo-allergenic, fragrance free, (go to the EWG website, which is where I went to find this product.) Cons: the consistency is terrible. I usually apply my face lotions and then sunblock and then makeup. I allow each time to absorb. But, this sunscreen does not blend so you have white patches all over your face. Then, it becomes so sticky and "tacky" that you can't apply any foundation on! It is miserable. It feels AWFUL on your skin and makes your hairline oily too. I tried using this on my arms and legs and same problem. It does not blend. I will not order again.

The product has a great price point compared to other similar mineral sunscreens and is also free from most harmful toxins. Did feel a little more difficult to apply (as most mineral sunscreens do) but worked pretty well and came in a nice travel friendly size.

I have papulopustular Rosacea and allergic contact dermatitis. I must wear sunscreen on my entire body on a daily basis. I appreciate that this product is truly fragrance free and doesn't contain any other Balsam of Peru allergens like Aloe and other plant derived oils, butters, tree products, and other plant/tree ingredients that are allergens for BoP allergy sufferers. This sunscreen leaves a very noticeable white cast, even if you rub it in for several minutes. I am very fair skinned and it is still very noticeable. It takes at least an hour to dry enough so that you can comfortably wear clothing. It never actually fully dries and skin will feel tacky through the entire day. I will say that I did not have any skin rashes or rosacea breakouts from this suncream and it actually was soothing on my ultra painful Rosacea face. However, it was very difficult to apply to my ultra painful face bc the cream is so thick and havy and requires extensive rubbing in. If I can't comfortably wear it on a daily basis and if it makes my pale face look white, then this is not the product for me. I'm so disappointed. It's so difficult to find products that are truly BoP free.

I’ve been really impressed with this sunscreen. It goes on smoothly, provides excellent protection, and most importantly, it uses clean mineral ingredients that I feel good about putting on my skin and my family’s. Unlike some mineral sunscreens, it rubs in fairly well without leaving a heavy white cast, especially after a few minutes. It’s fragrance-free, non-irritating, and feels lightweight even during long days outside. I also appreciate that it’s reef-safe and eco-friendly — a big plus for summer trips and beach days. This is now my go-to sunscreen, and I’ll definitely repurchase. Highly recommend for anyone looking for safe and effective sun protection.

If you are anything like me and find the consistency a little thick, difficult to spread, a little drying, it leaving white residue on your eyebrows; just mix it with your moisturizer! Put some of your moisturizer in your hand, before you apply it to your face, add a bit of the sunscreen to it, mix by rubbing your hands together, THEN apply to your face, thank me later:) In my opinion, it feels and looks WAY better when you apply it with your moisturizer like how i explained! Upside, this product absorbs into the skin easily!

Great sunscreen and love the safe ingredients. It leaves a very heavy white cast and is hard to rub in. For how clean the ingredients are and it being Zinc Oxide, this is to be expected though. Overall a great product, I just wish it was a little easier to rub in.

I don’t like that it is offered as a non-white cast sunscreen. It leaves the whitest cast ever. Be aware before buying it. The only good thing is that for oily skin is perfect, non greasy at all. If you don’t mind look like clown, is okay for you. Will not repurchase.

Works well. Reason for only 3 stars is its harder than other sunscreens to mix on to skin and it will leave a hint of white residue (that i dabble off with a towel and all gone)
