Bumble Bee Skinless and Boneless Smoked Trout Fillets In Canola Oil, 3.8 Ounce Can

Perfect size for a snack , as an appetizer served with crackers & cheese or right out of the can (my fav!) I worked in the seafood industry for 15+ years & I do know what smells good & what doesn't (for my own taste). As soon as I opened the can of trout, I took a sniff & , yay (!), it didn't smell like a house fire that had only just been out out. The fillet had a nice smooth appearance & the sodium for the entire can is 530 calories. I am a total night owl. When that voice in my head & the growl from my stomach hits me in the wee hours, I don't want anything sweet. Perfect size & a perfect snack with crackers & cheese or right out of the can (my personal choice).

I had never had canned smoked trout before until I tried this product. I was surprised how delicious it was! It was a little pricey but, I'll probably buy it again!

I'm so impressed with Bumble Bee quality. They are a larger scale producer along the lines of Chicken of the Sea, Brunswick, or Polar but I've had all of the tinned fish they produce (Tuna, salmon, trout, sardines, oysters, crab, etc.) and they are honestly all great quality. Much better than their other large immediate competitors and truly great considering their mostly inexpensive cost. Highly recommend this smoked trout and really ALL tinned fish products that Bumble Bee produces.

I was shocked by the geat6 value of this product. I love smoked trout. I was introduced to it as an appetizer in the 1980's. For a 6-year period I smoke trout filets in my Brinkman smoker. Now I live in a sixth-floor apartment and using a smoker on my balcony is frowned upon. So, when I purchased this product, I was amazed at the quality of this smoked trout. It's a tasty product as a more then fair price. I have recommended it to all my friends.
