Bought this to specifically make sushi rice for onigiri. Works great and is easy to use! And doesn’t take up a lot of space.

I bought 30 cups uncooked rice but description un appropriate . I cooked 20 cup rice cooker full . I think this not that one I am looking for

Minus a star for the fact that the instructions are not very understandable and this side sticker was very difficult to remove.I didn't understand what sushi rice was when I purchased this obviously it is a type of sticky rice which I am not a big fan of. That being said the cooker did perform very well and indeed the interior pan is stick free. Which was a relief because my rice did seem a bit overcooked down the bottom but it did not stick to the container. It was easy to clean and it was easy to start. I used a long grain jasmine rice which tasted fine but again it was a texture thing for me. This probably would be perfect for pan fried rice which I made try it with. Because I do like sticky rice that is reheated in a pan. But I did not care for the instruction booklet that came with it It was very vague and not easy to understand. They claim you can change the cooking time of certain rices but I do not see how to do that. All in all if you're a big fan of sticky rice or sushi rice and need lots of it or your family eats lots of it this would be a great gadget for your household. I think it's about the average price too.
