iLoud Micro Speakers - A Game Changer in Compact Audio
IntroductionThe quest for the perfect sound setup often leads to a myriad of choices, from various DACs to an array of speakers. However, the iLoud Micro Speakers emerge as a beacon in this crowded space, especially for those who have experienced the limitations of other brands. These compact speakers are not just another addition to the market; they represent a significant beating to the competition.Design and SizeAt first glance, the iLoud Micro Speakers impress with their compact and sleek design. Their small footprint is a perfect fit for any office or desk setup, making them ideal for those with limited space. Despite their size, these speakers pack an absolute punch, rivaling larger, more cumbersome models.Sound QualityThe sound quality of the iLoud Micro Speakers is where they truly shine. They offer an auditory experience akin to being reborn. This is a drastic shift in the audio experience, likening it to seeing the world in color after a lifetime in black and white. The clarity, depth, and richness of the sound are unparalleled, especially considering their size and price point.PerformanceWhen it comes to performance, the iLoud Micro Speakers surpass expectations. They deliver a balanced and detailed sound across various genres of music. The bass is tight and punchy, the mids are clear and well-defined, and the highs are crisp without being harsh. This level of performance is typically found in more expensive, larger speakers.Comparison with Other SpeakersThe iLoud Micro Speakers stand out even more when compared to other speakers, such as the Klipsch bookshelf models. While Klipsch speakers are known for their quality, the iLoud Micros offer a more vibrant and immersive sound experience in a much smaller package. They challenge the notion that bigger is always better in the world of speakers.Price ValueIn terms of value for money, these speakers are unmatched. They deliver high-end audio quality at a fraction of the cost of other premium speakers. This makes them not only an excellent choice for audiophiles on a budget but also for anyone looking to upgrade their audio setup without breaking the bank.RecommendationFor those craving an exceptional audio experience from their office computer or desk setup, the iLoud Micro Speakers are a must-have. They offer a combination of compact design, exceptional sound quality, and affordability for this level of sound. After years of searching and experimenting with different audio setups, it's clear that these speakers have no parallel at their price point.

Beast in a small package
Absolutely stunning sound, at a compact size. There is no other alternative at this price point, especially on sale. It's literally impossible to find better under 300$. Thank you for the clarity to my ears, I have been sleeping this whole time.I love it so much I bought another one!

More than you can expect for this size
TL;DR. Are these speakers impossibly good given the size? Yes.One reason I decided to buy these is that I am very happy with my old iLoud portable Bluetooth speaker which is also 3" and sound way battery than a portable BT speaker is supposed to sound, let alone 3". Micro pros do sound much better than the portable thing. Both sound too good for the size.Room correction on Micro Pro is a very handy feature and worked exactly as expected. The effect is very similar to to what I experienced with larger and way more expensive systems. IMO it is must have unless the room is very well treated.I have to say I do not use these as reference monitors, so I cannot comment on how useful they are for mixing. I use them as desktop speakers and I did apply some minor sound color using X-monitor to my taste.I use them with SMSL RAW MDA1 DAC and they did not work well with RCA connection to the DAC when DAC was connected to PC by a USB cable - there was some very noticeable static noise. The problem did not exist when DAC I was using Bluetooth instead. With XLR however even when DAC is connected by the same USB cable to the same PC there is ZERO noise. While these speakers are great they do not produce bass a significantly larger drivers are capable of producing. But for their size the amount and quality of bass is impressive to the point I almost feel it in my chest (of course I do not *really* feel it, but given the quality of the bass and knowing how it sounds on higher end systems w/ subwoofer this is what body starts "feeling").

Ok, I'm only one day in, but these are incredible.
I've tested these puppies on some of my favorite music and they've blown me away. Very crisp and articulated soundscape, definitely a very flat signal. I've listened to some of my own tracks as well and I can tell these are absolutely going to be a useful tool for me, you can immediately and clearly make out tons of discrepancies in your music. For those concerned about the low-end, they push that low-end very nicely, much more than I'd expected. The low-end signal is very pronounced and you get just about every bit of it that you want, and crisp too. Obviously not as intense as having a sub, but honestly I prefer not using a subwoofer when working on music or even for media purposes at home. I'd still recommend using your headphones for working away at smaller details in your work, but these should be able to cover 95% of the listening/referencing work, I (feel I) can confidently say that right now, but I'll let time be the judge. These monitors also create a very tactile presence and sense of depth - the signals from both speakers mesh at the center phenomenally and listening feels seamless. When you bump the volume up a bit too high, you definitely start to lose clarity in the low-end and things can sound muddy, but that's also in part because of spatial acoustics/reverberations and this is to be expected.I'd recommend these if you're working in a tight space, or if you want something completely exceptional in quality for being on the go. I'm sure these will handle games, movies, and general media very well too. Probably my most worthwhile purchase in a while and I feel it :)I'm currently connected to my audio interface with an RCA --> 1/4" (not included!). The cable that comes is L,R 3.5mm which is fine for just about everything.. except an audio interface lol. Weird choice on their part. Bluetooth is also option, though I haven't tried it yet. That's a nice feature though...
