I like how this stuff works because I play faster. Lubricating the strings is wise and something I’ve asked my guitar students to do. I just noticed a squeak because the string was dry and my finger didn’t slide very well, then I used Fast Fret and the problem was fixed. I also like how it cleans and moisturizes the fret board when I change strings.

I do NOT like the new smaller size and plastic can. I have some older metal ones. They bring back good memories. Still, the product itself is worth it.

These used to come in a metal can, These mow come in a clear plastic tube with a cap that keeps popping off and dries out the oil on the pad if you don't catch it off.Cheap plastic handle, they used to have a nice wood handle. I miss the old version, the worst thing is the container it comes in.

I never used original tin canned one, review is for plastic version.It’s smells, scent is VERY strong. (I wiped product off after use ofc).I do have a sensitive nose but can tolerate, but this is too much. Everything you touch after playing guitar will smell just as strong for quite some time. Will not buy again, better use coated strings.

You'd be surprised how well this stuff works to keep your strings sounding good. Keeping your strings clean really works to extend their useful lives. It does a great job of removing the, tone killing, gunk that builds up when you play. It lasts long enough that you're more likely to lose it than use it up.

Good stuff

Great way to apply mineral oil to guitar strings after playing. It cleans, lubricates, and protects the strings. The strings can last up to a year instead of three months and are easier to play.
