Best ever
This is the absolute best matte liquid lipstick I have ever purchased. I bought it just because it had the purple color I wanted but it goes on easy, doesn’t dry my lips out like crazy, stays on SO well and the color is great. Love it

LOve the color, but IS DRY and I mean like crayon, could not use it.

Very pretty color!
Ok. Literally such a flattering beautiful color. Love the application. Super easy to put on. And it’s not dry as heck! I would only say I wish it was darker. But I’m slightly colorblind so that’s probs my fault!

Darker than I thought it would be
Flavor is a weird thing to rate this by honestly. It doesn't really have a 'flavor?' I don't think it's supposed to anyway... This was not quite the purple I was looking for. It is a nice color in its own right. You could try layering a lighter purple on top of this, but it's much darker than I was expecting. I was looking for a deep purple, like a royal purple color. This is more of a wine color almost or like a blackberry color. It does stay on pretty well.

The color is nice, but the application is uneven
After purchasing my favorite COVERGIRL Melting Pout Matte Liquid Lipstick, in SECRET, multiple times, I thought I would give BACK TALK a chance. I had hoped it would've applied evenly like SECRET, but unfortunately, it fell short. I had to keep applying and applying to make it look somewhat even, but you could see it getting patchy and see the swipe/brush strokes of the lip applicator. Color is nice, but the composition of the liquid lipstick in combination with the application could use work. I kept it in hopes of using it with other lipsticks to salvage this purchase.

I don’t recommend
I got 7 of these and I had the same problem with all of them despite at least one of them coming from a different seller. They all smeared and were clumpy. They went on dry, almost like a pastel crayon, only the color didn’t stay on the lips. I would not recommend these at all. The color would have been nice if it had went on the lips properly. It has a pleasant smell/taste to it.
