Certainly seem to help my 10 year old dog with her mobility. These plus a change in her diet has her moving with no pain now.

Have been using this brand for years on my old German Shepherd. She is older and sometimes has trouble getting up. I've found these really help her, she loves taking them. She has more energy and has a much easier time getting up and moving around. I recommend these.

This product is great for our 10 year husky, her back legs are weak and these help with pain and help her joints/muscles heal. However, the last several times most of the chews are broken and in pieces (Amazon).

We have a 12yo smooth collie with age-related arthritis. He's on some prescription medications to manage his discomfort, but I don't see any harm in adding in well-studied supplements as well. We used to use Dasequin with MSM chews. He simply will not touch those anymore. I can't even hide them in food, wrap them in cheese... the smell had become off-putting to him. So, I decided to try this product. The ingredients are equivalent (maybe even a bit better) and best of all, he LOVES these! I don't even have to mix them in with his food to hide them. He simply enjoys them as treats! I can't attest to how well they work/will work for him, but I wanted to write a review to at least praise the palatability. So, if your pup is turning down some of the other prominent chondroitin + MSM supplements, I'd definitely give this one a go!

I bought these via Amazon from the Family and Pet Apothecary a few months ago but it has taken awhile for me to calmly write about it. I first want to say that I understand how Amazon works. My husband and I were among the first of our friends to buy a home computer with the giant monitor and after having discovered online shopping I have been a faithful amazon customer since it's very early days, before it was a major household name (If only I had bought stock). That said, I am not faulting Amazon for the sellers product. On to the product - I was giving my dog the Glyco-Flex chews as directed for about two weeks. She began to act different - didn't want to eat or play as much (she is a Lab so loyalty and playtime with the tennis balls is her calling in life). Then one day she was tucked away, i tried to soothe her and a short time later she threw up a giant hard log type of something that I could not identify!! And I"m going to be graphic so forgive me - I'm talking about a 2 1/2 -3" diameter and about 5" inches long. At first discovery I thought it was a potty accident (which she never has plus she has a dog door) but the absence of potty odor alarmed me, it in fact smelled like vomit. I quickly grabbed a paper towel and it was as solid as plastic or wood. And then the horror of realization, the only thing she had ingested (I work from home and her yard is debris free) were the Glyco-Flex chews I had been giving her... . :( My poor amazing baby-girl. And no, it wasn't a stick she chewed up. This was pieces of compact 'product'. Even as a puppy she doesn't like sticks, she's smart. She would look at us as if to say, "do I look stupid? get me a BALL". In light of all the horrors of death of pets from dog foods in the past or anything that has been harmful, I quickly threw them out of my house and she was tended to. She displayed no other complications and no discerning medical issues and we are extremely lucky in that regard. I do not know what is the problem with this product or the batch we got. It may be something with my dog that she can not digest these. I had given Glyco-Flex chews that I bought off Amazon (don't recall seller - too long ago) several years ago to a senior dog with no issues. But things are different these days. People are utilizing as much as abusing the online market place more than ever. That said, I will never ever again buy any products for my pets off the internet ever again. It's not worth saving $10-15 at the expense of my pets life, all because I was cheap. In far too many ways, that I would hope need no further explanation, I STRONGLY advise against ANY products from ANYWHERE online that your pet will be putting in their mouth. There are so many stories that I dismissed but she and I are so fortunate that her tummy threw that out, otherwise I would never have known it was there and the complications she would have developed are too upsetting to even consider. Get up. Drive. Go to the pet store. Go to the vet to get the products you need for your pet. I will never again risk my pets life over my cheap, lazy a@@. *** In reading recent reviews I have noted a number of people whose pets also displayed symptoms and/or the product is hard as rocks but people seem to ignore it - as I did - and purchase anyway, "nah..that's' just their dog". Additionally, to those whose pets had a bad reaction and thus discontinued the product, if you have not already, please take your pet for an x-ray to make sure there is not a solid hard log of undigested product sitting in there. As a rule, my pets get one hundred kisses every day. After that experience, that number spiked to one thousand <3. - Be safe; Be smart; Keep your pets safe.
