Great little WIRELESS printer, easy set up too.
Good little desktop printer. Setup was the easiest I've ever done. Packaging was really well done, thank you!Wireless and I love that! Phone app was very easy to use and understand. I could see on my phone the photo or document I needed to print and I liked that. I use my smart phone for about everything these days so I liked that I can pull up my email and print from my phone a file sent to me in an email without having to boot up my laptop!I was a bit surprised that it had photos and PDF files as the only two print options, but the help support documents tells how to handle files other than jpg or PDF.One thing I would love to see is a port for a SD card from my camera to scan and save or print photos and documents. There is USB port in the back near the power cord plug in. My old printer had the ports in the front. Not critical, just different than what I'm accustomed to. I like the wireless feature a lot more. For the amount I spent, VERY reasonable and does everything I need. It's quiet, works well, prints nice copies in either black and white or color. The little touch screen menu is very easy to use and read. I appreciate that too. I can read it without my glasses 😆.I'm very well pleased with the printer, functions, and price. I'd recommend it as a nice little desktop printer. It doesn't take up a lot of space and is perfectly fine for my needs.

Really nice quiet printer with high resolution scanner . Needs proper installation set up though.
All in all a really nice printer with duplex printing built in which was a key feature for the purchase. The Linux support by HP was another key feature. The printer driver had to be installed after two Microsoft features were turned off which took many remove and install cycles to ID. I was not happy about that but no wear on the printer was incurred and I learned some things about Windows 11 on the way. Be aware to have the protected print setting turned off before you install the software from HP or windows 11 will use the built in IPP class driver by default. That will not give the intended duplex printing across multiple document formats that the HP driver will.

Neat printer
I purchased this printer because I needed a replacement for my hp deskjet 3050 which has served me faithfully for almost a decade. This Hp Envy 6555e looks pretty neat, got it for $100 which I think is a good price.Upon setup the touchscreen display had a slight delay (haven’t noticed it since), the sensitivity to touch is good. The HP application is easy to use, and I have no problems connecting the printer to WiFi and using HP print or AirPrint. It seems quite sturdy and well-made.It works with HP 68 ink. I have no interest in the Instant Ink Subscription programme and I haven’t had any nagging prompts to join the programme as others have mentioned. The Print quality is good.My only negative observation so far is that in comparison to my old printer, the print speed is a bit slow. Otherwise, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase.

DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS. STOP WORKING AFTER WARRANTY.
Less than a year the printer stop printing. I am currently on the phone with HP because this is the 3rd printer I have purchase from HP. I purchase one in 2023, it stop working. Purchase this one less than a year ago and one for my mother a few months ago. This one stop printing and the one for my mother started having issues. I was able to fix hers; however, mines will not work at all. Talking to customer service, the first call I went through all the troubleshooting to get a hang up and no return call. Called back, went through the whole troubleshooting process and still no printing. I knew it was a hardware and not a software issue. I was told I was still under warranty at the beginning; however, when the issue because clear that it was a hardware issue, immediately was being told the limitation of the warranty. I brought it on sale, I just want my money back to buy a Canon or Epson. They are not working with me to get my money back. They offered a a refurbish printer, which is unacceptable when I brought is brand new. HP as a company get ZERO stars; but to alert the world I must give 1. DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS. I will never buy any products from HP and strongly suggest to save your money and buy Canon or Epson or anything else.

Quick setup
Setup was a breeze for this. Quick tip for people that are non technically inclined - if you have a WiFi network (mine is Verizon) that has two options, one for guests and one for the household, you will need to make sure the phone or computer you are printing from is connected to the same network the printer is on. This might sound basic to a lot of people but it took me a minute to “see” my printer as an option and it was because we were connected to two different networks. I hope this helps someone.Overall the printer has been great, it’s fast, it stays connected, it has worked when I need it, print puts are clear and I have no complaints. This printer was $99 when I bought it and I think it was a steal for the ease of use compared to what I had prior.

HP 6500e For The Win!
I've used other printers over the years but always go back to HP so getting the new 6500e was an easy decision. It was the easiest to set up of any I've had and the print quality is great.

Mostly satisfied
I am a wfh paralegal and use the printer every day. It is a little slow to scan, but gets the job done. Easily compatible with Microsoft Word. My only objection is that I have to make an adjustment on the printer to print envelopes rather than use the one-touch print envelope in the Word program, then manually change the printer back again to letter-size. A real inconvenience. Even so, good value for the money.
