Nice quality rope
This caught my eye because it mentioned emergency escape rope. Our main bedroom is down a long hallway far away from the stairs and it has always been a concern what we would do in a fire. When we moved in we noticed some hooks in the floor by the main window that look perfectly placed for an escape ladder so perhaps the previous owners had the same concerns. This rope popped up and looked perfect for the job. It comes nicely packaged in it's own bag, with rucksack style double drawstring and is neatly wound for stowing. The rope comes with some very strong looking locking carabiners - I am not a climbing expert so I have included the markings that give the ratings and CE marking in the photos but they definitely look more than strong enough to take body weight - I would not hesitate to use them. Same for the rope, it is a nice quality and very strong. The end loops are stitched (again photo included) and feel secure. As I am only planning on using this in an emergency and likely for a one off (hopefully never!) use, I would not hesitate to put my faith in the rope and attachments.Overall I am very pleased with it and hope to never have to use it for the purpose I got it for!

A Great Quality Rope - But, It’s Not Labelled Properly As Climbing Rope?
The media could not be loaded. Don’t get me wrong, this is Great Rope for Camping, Bushcraft and probably a Swing etc, but I really wouldn’t trust it for Climbing as it’s not Labelled/Categorised! It states it’s good for a weight limit of 1,000kg, but like I said who knows if it’s been properly specified and gone through the rigorous tests the UIAA do for the Safety Standards of Ropes? Overall, the Price isn’t bad for 30 Metres of it at £25.99 and the Quality looks Great - But, stay away from it if you want to Climb and I honestly think Amazon should make the Manufacturer’s take the word “Climbing Rope” off the advert! Thank you.

High-quality general-use safety rope with EU certification
This heavyweight braided rope arrived neatly wound and packed in a thin waterproof bag with drawstrings. The rope itself is sturdy and well-made with each end folded, stitched and tightly wrapped in heat-shrink plastic.Large steel carabiners with screw thread tighteners are permanently attached to each end of the rope. These are stamped with the CE logo, which stands for Conformity Europeenne and is the European safety conformity standard for all goods sold in Europe. To meet CE requirements a product must comply with EN technical and/or safety standards. Due to the placement of the logo, it is not clear if this applies to just the carabiner part, or both the rope and carabiner. There is no mention of additional UIAA or EN certification on either the rope or the packaging. This seems to be an excellent general-use rope representing good value for money. Personally, I'm not sure I would use it for climbing due to a lack of clarification regarding its certification.

Useful Utility Product
I'm not a climber so I'll only be using this as a utility rope. A rope to help lashing thinks up on the campsite, when felling larger trees in the garden and for additional support when working at heights outside the house. It is much better and more compact than the dodgy old pieces of rope I was using before. Getting this rope was a good safety move from that respect. My old ropes of unknown strength have gone in the bin in favor of this one. Having its own bag will keep the dust off it and also means it is a smaller size to store.

NOT a climbing rope!
Let’s get this out of the way straight away - There is no way in the world that I would trust my life, during my next climb up El Capitan, to a Chinese imported rope costing twenty six quid and branded as LZ.MZXU. Slightly concerningly, this rope calls itself a climbing / escape rope. It says that it is weight limited to 1000kg. Maybe this is the case - I’m not prepared to test it in a life critical situation to find out. I’m happy to have this rope in my arsenal for non-critical situations - using on the campsite, stringing a hammock, etc. My advice would be to keep it at that though and to stick to a known and trusted brand if you are genuinely looking for a climbing rope. Rather than a climbing rope, this is more like a paracord on steroids! There is, also, no mention of any certification or quality control in the listing. In general, everything feels a bit cheap. It certainly doesn’t have any real weight to it like a climbing rope. I would expect 30m of rope to feel much more substantial. There are plently of videos on YouTube of climbers who have reviewed Amazon ‘climbing’ rope, so you don’t have to use it! Maybe go and watch a few before choosing to use this as a life supporting rope. Once again, just don’t put your life on the line…on this line, quite literally. It’s okay for a cheap bit of rope for around the campsite, but that’s where it ends. Climbing? No. If this was advertised as ‘utility rope’, then I would give it a higher star rating. The fact that it is implicity advertised as a climbing rope in the listing and on the product (on the supplied bag), means it has to get down rated.

Very Good
Climbing Rope is a solid choice for outdoor enthusiasts and emergency preparedness. Its durable construction provides peace of mind during camping trips or unexpected situations. The multi-functional design is versatile, making it useful for various activities, from climbing to securing gear. I found the length and thickness to be just right for most needs. However, the rope could benefit from clearer weight capacity instructions. Overall, it’s a reliable option for anyone looking for quality climbing gear!

Ordentliches Nutzseil
