OK, I really wanted to pan this item, but for less than $20, it was impossible.Are the instructions slightly confusing and force you to look up how to adjust the stepper? Yep. But I didn't pay $75 for it and it took me less than 5 minutes to find them. Fair trade.This comes almost 109% reassembled. All you have to do is add a screw and the resistance bands.The screw controls how high the step is and resistance. They kind of go hand in hand. Higher lift, more resistance. But you have to screw it all the way down until it begins to meet resistance before it starts to work. Until then it just spins in pretty quickly and feels useless.The unit is fairly quiet and easy to use at the lower resistance. Might want to have something to hold on to for those with balance issues and the elderly until you get used to it.I have a much more expensive stair stepper that is almost exactly the same, so I find this unit well worth the cost. I'd jump on it if I needed a new one.Oh, it also holds up to 350lbs! That's a LOT for a cheaper unit.Am I concerned it won't hold up? Yep. But if I have any issues there I will definitely update my review. In the mean time, it will be used daily by my 6'6" 320lb son. So if it fails quality testing we will definitely have given it a run for it's money!

I'm getting back into exercising and I didn't really want to commit to a gym membership. I ordered this stepper and man did it work! I'm fairly sore so I took a couple of days off. I came back to it and it was quite a workout! It holds my weight and its portable so I definitely recommend for a home exercise machine!

The stepper did not come with instructions. The pulley did not sit in the groove and comes out so once i stand on the stepper it goes down but does not raises up and one screw was missing. Total garbage returning don't waste of money.

This was great value for a solid piece of exercise equipment, though it does have a major flaw - the step part is spiky. It was easy workaround to just wear sneakers on top. While an extra step, it's probably better in the long-term. The device itself works great. It doesn't creak and has smooth resistance. The count is fairly accurate. The device itself doesn't take up much space at all, about 1ft x 1ft, and it easily tucks away under tables.

I'll preface this with this stepper was priced at $18.99 when I ordered it and I'm my opinion, that was a steal. It's a basic stepper with resistance bands included. 10-15 minutes on this definitely feels like a workout, which is great because after that long the pistons start to heat up and directions say not to use it more than 20 minutes.That being said, fur the current price of $37.99, I'm not terribly impressed. I've used similar steppers and doing that they have a much better range of motion. This steppers motion is kind of limited. Also, the resistance bands are a little too long to be effective. Maybe if they didn't raise the price so much, I would have given it another star.

This stepper was easy to set up and is seriously heavy duty. My 200+lb husband can use it without any problems. I really appreciate the high level of resistance that it provides. I'm hoping this will hold up over time (note that the instructions recommend that you don't use it for longer than 20 minutes at a time, in order to maintain the resistance level). Great value for a high quality stepper. The resistance cords for the arms work well, although I wish they had some adjustment (nothing is mentioned about them in the manual).
