Si el billete Venezolano tiene el mismo tamaño de un dolar lo puede contar con exito, ya que la maquina cuenta la cantidad de billetes que usted ponga en ella no el valor del billete, Osea no te identifica si el billete es de $10, $20 ó $100 usted tiene que poner todos los billetes del mismo valor a contar y luego multiplicarlo por la cantidad que la maquina le dio, Espero que me explique correctamente

can this device count all currencies?

All currencies? It counts PAPER, the size of U.S.A currency. You can put in $10.00 dollar bills,$20.00 dollar bills( separately) and just multiply, i.e, one hundred $10.00's =1,000.00 and so on. You cannot mix 1.00 & 10.00's,20.00's etc. It only counts PAPER the size of U.S currency. I can tell you that so far...it's quiet, runs very smooth and accurate.I hope this helps. Good luck!

Defective item

The machine came without UK plug so I had to use the adapter, as soon I switched the machine on it worked for a bit, made a popping sound and the smoke came out. Now I have to return it at my own expense.
