This was one of my birthday purchases ... Leonard Is, was, and remains a national treasure ... this is a great collection ... plays perfectly ... not a hint of warp. ...and the price was very reasonable!

Yes, it will sound dated from a musical perspective, but Cohen's songwriting collected on this compilation is so good! And kudos to the high-quality vinyl pressing... on of the "quietest" that I have received before. The production quality is very good.

This is a beautiful compilation of his early songs, obviously his best ones. Haunting lyrics and sparse accompaniment mostly with a single classical guitar. Includes an all time favorite "Suzanne" which is a true masterpiece of poetry and pain.Its a must for your music collection.

I was really excited to own a Leonard Cohen record because he is a legendary song writer. I love having this record but it doesn’t have the depth of a true analog recording. It’s a fresh printing it plays roughly there is a lot of remnants of other songs echoing throughout the album. You’ll get the songs. Yet not the feeling he had while recording. Also the instruments on the album don’t play cleanly and don’t have the depth of a true analog album. It’s nice to own but just a murmur not a true echo of one of the greatest songwriters. (But digital has done none justice).
