I bought these glass weights for fermenting vegetables. They are perfect for holding down vegetables in the brine solution, and you can easily remove the weights by grasping the knob at the top. Made of quality glass; very pleased with this product!

Please see my video review and give me a "Like" if you can. :) They're nice weights, but I docked 1 star for uneven shapes and they each weigh slightly different (6.7oz-7.1oz). For fermenting purposes, it doesn't really matter, but it's something to know ahead of time so you know what to expect. Also, as another reviewer said, the "moat" in the tops can hold liquid which can possibly lead to mold. If you like this style, then great!! , but I'm looking into a different brand that has smooth, domed tops that don't have "moats" that hold liquid.

Better than I expected. They fit perfectly in wide mouth jars. The packaging was a surprise as well. They were packed in plastic / foam type molds great for storing them without chance of breaking. ,
