I’m 52 with post-menopausal, dry, mature skin, and the eye area is where dehydration and texture show up first for me. I was initially hesitant about this being a gel rather than a traditional cream, because gels usually aren’t substantial enough for my skin. That concern disappeared after the first use. The LANEIGE Bouncy & Firm Eye Sleeping Mask has a plush, cushiony gel texture that melts into the skin and then creates a genuine moisture-sealing barrier. It doesn’t slide around or feel sticky, and it never dries down tight. Instead, it keeps the under-eye area comfortably hydrated throughout the night. By morning, my eye area feels soft, deeply moisturized, and noticeably less crepey, with a smooth, well-rested look. There’s a subtle plumping effect that makes the skin look healthier and more resilient, and it layers beautifully over serums without causing irritation or heaviness. For dry, mature skin, this is not a lightweight or flimsy gel. It behaves more like a light occlusive sleeping treatment, which is exactly what post-menopausal skin needs overnight. This is a beautiful eye cream. I struggle to find eye products that don’t cause irritation, but this one works perfectly for me. The texture is a gel-like consistency with a naturally cooling effect, almost as if it had been stored in the fridge. I apply a small amount to my under-eye area, and I started seeing plumping and smoothing results within a few days. It’s unscented, lightweight, and absorbs quickly without leaving any film or heaviness. I also love that it contains ceramides, collagen complex, and multiple hyaluronic acids, because those always help with hydration without triggering sensitivity. I really enjoy LANEIGE products in general, and this eye mask is no exception.

This is a very interesting new product, unlike anything I’ve ever used before. I have purchased a lot of skincare, too. I am in my 30s with combo leaning dry/sensitive skin. My under eye area has always been an issue. I have really bad allergies. I think that adds to the problem of puffiness and darkness. The consistency is a thick, soft, velvety gel. It dies down quickly, which I really like. It is not greasy. Great for people that wear glasses and don’t want residue on their pillow. It is .70 oz in a nice plastic jar that locks shut. I do not have any sensitivity when I use this product all around my eye area- top and bottom lids. I am on prescription tretinoin/hydroquinone cream and this eye cream did not further irritate my skin. It feels lightly cooling on the skin. I do notice when I wake up my eyes look a bit more refreshed and smooth than they normally would. Would I purchase again? Maybe. I’m still trying it out so I need to see more long term benefits to see if it’s worth it. I suppose if you really wanted to you could probably use it as a day eye cream as well. I haven’t tried it as a day eye cream but I don’t see why not. I don’t know how it would wear with makeup though. Overall this is an interesting product and definitely one of a kind. I have enjoyed trying it out. I do think for the price I paid it is worth it. The main thing I like about this product is the texture and way it doesn’t leave behind a greasy film on my skin. I haven’t tried the matching sleeping bouncy face mask to this, but if I keep enjoying the eye cream long term, I will. I paid for this product with my own hard earned money. When applied lightly, this eye mask makes eyes look and feel great. I highly recommend.

Laneige does it again! I have always been very sensitive about my undereyes because I naturally have thin, translucent skin under my eyes leaving my undereyes dark with fine lines. After one application I woke up with plump skin under my eyes which softened the look of fine lines and brightened my skin! It is so hydrating and luxurious on my skin and does not feel sticky at all. Instantly this has become a staple in my skin care. Thank you, Laneige!

There’s no moisturizing effect at all. I was disappointed with this product, even though I’ve repurchased other Water Bank products from the same brand multiple times.
