Elegant, Smooth, and Reliable
The TAG Fountain Pen is an absolute pleasure to write with. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by its sleek, minimalist design and solid build quality. The nib glides effortlessly across the page, delivering smooth ink flow with no skips or blotches. It has a good weight to it—feels premium in hand without being too heavy. Whether for journaling or signing documents, this pen adds a touch of sophistication to every task. A must-have for any writing enthusiast or professional.

Great Gift Idea
I purchased this as a gift to give to someone who loves good quality pens. He was excited to say the least as well as impressed. The pin itself has a sleek modern look to it and the packaging was nice as well. He said it worked and wrote nicely.

Great Pen But…..
This is a great pen, very smooth finish , perfect balance not a big fan of the top of the pen that twists so you can refill the cartridge but just makes the pen look weird with the twist stile now rate it at 4 stars because for a pen that’s $139.00 and it doesn’t even bring a few free ink cartridges that’s pretty cheap from the company to not even offer a start cartridges. I had to order a bottle of watermen ink that still has not arrived even though it was supposed to be at my door a two days ago including today. Have not even been able to use the pen due to the ink.

Smooth writer with a perfect weight
I was a little reluctant about this pen as I had never heard of the brand (though I wasn't sure if it was related to the watch brand...probably not). I can report that I'm pleasantly surprised and it's one of my favorite pens. I own a Waterman and two Retro 51 Tornado pens. This Tag holds differently than those--in a good way. It has a good weight and balance. It 'feels' premium. The plunger system doesn't feel as premium or solid (there's a little play in the movement), but it works as advertised. Where it really shines is the writing. The ink flows very nicely and the nib has a soft glide across the paper. I got mine with a fine nib and it writes incredibly well. It's a very solid design overall. The packaging isn't overboard. I do wish it was similar to the Retro 51 brand packaging that can double as a pen stand, but the packaging is modern and comes with a black ink cartridge. Definitely worth a buy.

Just what I hoped for!
I've always wanted a nice fountain pen, score! Sooo much better than any cartridge pen I've used. Easy to fill, can prime on the fly & is wonderfully balanced & comfortable for lengthy sessions. I love it

Update: Schmidt nib defective from factory.
Disclaimer: Left-handed user. Your experience may vary. Inks used: (no particular order) Birmingham ink co: "Moon Jellyfish" Ferris wheel press: Ferritales collection - "Lapis Lullabies" Diamine Inks: "Prussian Blue", "Onyx black" UPDATE: Turns out the first one wasn't properly doped, or, it was aggressively over-polished to the point of being...a point. I Haven't filled it yet, but I will absolutely update my star rating to reflect my opinion of the pen with a (visually) functional nib after I get the chance to write a few pages. Leaving initial thoughts just in case someone else has a similar experience. You may not be crazy, its possible that it's the pen. I gave this pen a few weeks before coming to any conclusions because I really wanted to like it and give it a fair shake. Unfortunately, I don't like it at all. It feels good in the hand, but when pen meets paper, it feels like a car crash. The nib is scratchy and routinely fails to start. I'm unsure if I got a bad one or if these nibs are just extremely unforgiving to southpaws. I own several fountain pens, and even my cheapest pen flows more consistently and reliably. Truly a joy to write with- Unlike the TaG Submarine. My biggest gripe is with the "turbine" on the end of the pen. Initially thought of as a convenience and cool design feature, it's actually turned into a major source of anxiety. It turns the (included) converter plunger very easily which prevents me from carrying this pen in most circumstances. Considering the lackluster performance, id rather throw away the pen than the shirt it would inevitably stain. It stains my hands every time I try to write with it. I have no such issue with any other fountain pen. Buy it as a status symbol if you're into wasting money like that. But if you're trying to buy a high quality tool to elevate your daily writing experiences, your money is better spent somewhere else. Try an Asvine V200 (extra fine). The deposition is a little heavier than the TaG fine nib, but unlike the TaG, it actually performs. I sincerely hope your experience is better than mine. I can't recommend this product as it is right now.

Top Two Pens I've ever used
I have been using Fountain Pens since my Grandfather first let me as a kid. I loved my Grandfathers old Fancy Cross Pen. Needless to say nothing has really rivaled that experience since. He would have loved this pen. It is as smooth as a felt tip in writing and does not have the same issues that I have had with the newer cross fountain pens with leaking. I like the fact that I can get bottled ink instead of having to get prefills. Writing is rather effortless and though it has not done anything to improve the chicken scratch that is my handwriting... it does allow me to take notes during meeting better and makes writing more pleasurable. As astehtics go, it is not gaudy and has a nice artistic utilitarian feel. The pen stands with a you dont know it until youve use it and looked at it closely and doesnt beg for attention which is something I greatly enjoy about it.
