Good quality watercolour probably one of the cheapest and best option in the market

The watercolor quality is very handy for beginners. The pigmentation is as one should expect from products of this range. It works well on a good gsm paper. Blending is smooth, and you can activate and work with your watercolor even after it has dried once on or off the paper. A good tip will be to squeeze out paint as less as possible from the tube. A few drops will go a long way.

Value for money. Much recommended for beginner and intermediate professional artists. Colours are vibrant yet transparent, not granulating, not chalky. The glazing effect is good. So much more to say about the characteristics. Can't comment about light fastness as of now.

These are amazing paints. They might not be perfect for beginners because tube paints tend to dry up and you need to know how to moist them properly or be painting regularly (beginners should go for watercolor cakes). However these are great for an intermediary level especially with the range of colours they provide. However some of the tubes felt like they had a little less paint than the others. I don't know if that's a packaging and air-fill thing or something else.

The smell when pouring into pans was noxious! Hard to be in the same room. A few days later - still a bad odor. Hoping it goes away. If you can get past the smell these are nicely pigmented and really are good for the price.

This review is for the Kokuyo Camlin 24 set 5ml watercolor tubes. This is the third time I purchased this product. These watercolors are absolutely lovely and I am so pleased with the price point. The first time I purchased these watercolors I payed double the price. I have a lot of watercolor brands (student and professional) made in the US and abroad, and this is among my top favorites. They mix very well, do not get muddy and conforms to ASTM D 4236 and are Non-toxic. The Yellow Ochre and Raw Sienna are very close in color which was odd, and they do have a strong chemical smell when first pored from the tubes, which I can understand would turn a lot of people off. However in my opinion, these paints perform nicer dried in a palette and after several days, the smell does dissipate. The tubes in this set have a lightfast rating of A and B ( A-Absolutely Permanent, B-Permanent). I have read many reviews that have glowing remarks on their lightfastness. I personally have never did a lightfast test on this set. There is no pigment information on these watercolors. I believe that they have a total of 48 colors in their line, and offer larger 20ml sized tubes. I would be extremely interested in purchasing and trying more colors. I have not been able to find open stock anywhere. Maybe they will be offered on Amazon in the future. If you are looking for a very nice inexpensive watercolor and you are a beginner, student or professional, regardless of the smell, these are definitely worth it. They are very enjoyable to paint with.

Son preciosas y de una calidad excelente. Las conocí por vídeos de acuarelistas profesionales de India y la verdad es que me gusta mucho. Se han convertido en una de mis preferidas. La única pega es que que tienen un olor algo fuerte, aunque a mi no me molesta, y si las echas en godets para trabajar con ellas como pastillas, tardan bastante en secar (no llegan a secar del todo) y tienes que tener cuidado y tenerlas en horizontal bastante tiempo

Was ordered this to gift my artist friend and the product came in really bad shape. The package is in a bad and damaged condition. The paint tubes were squeezed and the paint spilled all over the packaging. Ordered many times and never had a bad experience. But this was a total waste of time and money. Terrible experience and very disappointed.
