Venture Fixed-Blade Full Tang Stainless Steel Outdoor Knife - Durable Red Handle, Swiss Army Knife That is Ideal for Camping and Survival

I've been watching Felix Immler's videos for two years. The things he's done with several edc Sak knives are amazing. When the Venture series knives arrived, I had to have one (Venture Pro). The knife is 9 inches in length, not a great skinning knife, I'm told, but if mine fillets fish with ease, I'm satisfied. I love the carry options Felix has demonstrated, and I like the plastic sheath due to its durability and the tool to feed a struggling fire. It is not a knife intended to split wood, but rather a reliable companion when camping, hiking, and hunting. The toothpick, ink pen, and ferro rod will come in handy, as does the business end of the handle, which features sharp spine edges designed to carve out various items, such as spoons, bowls, and cups. The drill bit, knife sharpener, and nylon/ polyester carry case work well with the Venture Pro. I'll wait on those $50 extras at this point, but know everything is top quality, and the knife itself will do everything it claims to do. My Venture Pro is a great companion when used sensibly.

Very sharp 90° spine. Blade is sharp as a razor. Sheath is nothing to write home about.

Great knife! well thought out, you don’t always need a quarter inch thick Rambo knife when you go hiking or camping, sometimes you just need a knife. This Knife excels at food prep, whittling and opening cardboard boxes or cutting rope. You don’t have to think about the knife too much with it stainless steel you don’t have to babysit it. no leather pouch to look after or worry about if wet. Tweezers, ferro-Rod and ballpoint pen are a nice useful touch without being gimmicky. The hard plastic sheath with removable blade cover are very practical on your belt. Once removed from your belt the whole assembly sits flat on surface and with one hand you can take the knife out use it and put it back in without having to pick the sheath up. Very happy!, and I’m very picky.

I bought one and was so impressed I bought a second. The edge consistency, fit and finish between them was superb. I’ve not experienced that level of consistency with other brands and I was impressed because the out of the box edge is extremely good. The fine edge is excellent but you must be mindful of its limitations.

This is a high quality knife made by the same company as Swiss Army knives. As long as it doesn’t get lost, it will last forever! The included holder provides lots of options for attaching to a belt or on a MOLLE pack.

Top notch, it’s a great quality camping knife, love the multipurpose sheath and strap, the blade comes sharp, handle is very ergonomic.

One of the best bushcraft knives I’ve ever used. It arrived sharp and after repeated use, it’s still sharp. Victorianox has always had a great reputation with Swiss Army knives, so with that in mind, I had to try out this Venture knife.

The knife looked really good in terms of function with great features. However, the sample I received should have failed Quality Control for bad grind marks on the blade flats.

Excellent addition to the venture incredibly useful and awesome quality as always from Victorinox, it is however a little over priced.

Its really sharp out of the box. A great slicer and for whittling. I avoid batoning (got an axe or hatchet for that). The sheath is ok. But I wanted something bigger and easier to draw/insert the knife in. I crafted a leather sheath and have used the knife for several days in the outdoors now. Really good blade. Oh yeah, the spine throws insane sparks using a ferro rod.

Love this blade. It's not a bushcraft knife! More of a camp knife I'd say. Terrific for food prep and often use it in the kitchen at home. Have tried the bow drill divot, but i can't see why it wouldn't work. Came very sharp but i did strop before use. Then it got scary sharp. Sheath isn't the best, molle carry thingy is a cool touch. But not something that interest me too much.. Handle ergonomics are spot on fo my hand and is awesome for slicing. 8.5/10 if I had to score. Be super nice with a branded leather sheath
