Pretty impressive! Nice wooden block with decent, sharp knives. I love the proper, full sized chef's knife too. Most chef's knives these days are way too small. The knives also fit nicely in the block with the blades facing up, which keeps them sharper. Although they are supposed to be dishwasher safe, I would generally avoid putting decent knives in a dishwasher. This is simply because only cheaper knives are completely stainless. That may seem odd but stainless does not make a good knife blade so manufacturers use a steel that has more carbon in it, to make it harder, but that leaves them somewhat prone to rust spots.They are fine most of the time but if your dishwasher is adding loads of salt to the wash then you can expect them to mark. Far safer to just wash them by hand most of the time and avoid all that contact with salty water. My only small gripe with these knives is they are a little brittle. I suppose that is to be expected though. Less than a year after I bought them I dropped the mid-sized knife and the blade snapped in half. Careful not to drop the smaller knives and do not use them for anything that may excessively bend them!

So far ok. One knife was not sharp though so had to sharpen it which was a little strange for a brand new set.

Excellent knife set, very well presented in the bamboo block (although my block came with a ding on the front, that's barely noticable if you're not looking for it, so not worth returning). The knives themselves seem okay to me. The small paring knife is definitely the dullest one in my set, although the others are reasonably sharp, but time will tell how long they keep thier edge for, before I'll need to sharpen them properly. The handles are a nice touch, securely riveted, nicely weighted and easy to hold, very ergonomic. Money well spent, although I personally would have liked them sharper, considering they're "professional" blades, even if they are priced at a home cook's budget. :)

Bought first as a gift which my son loved using since then have bought another set for friends and eventually a set for myself. Pleased with purchase.

I have a set of sabatier kitchen knives which are almost identical to these. There is however one big difference, they can go through the dishwasher, these can not. There are warnings everywhere about the damage they will go through if they are left wet for any length of time. The handles do look like a good quality wood and are very smart but that is the weakness. It's a shame but my knives do get wet and do go through the dishwasher so these lovely looking and sharp things will stay in their holder. If the washing is not an issue for you, and the oiling of the blades now and again, then the blades themselves are well made, sharpen very well and the knives well balanced. Excellent for what they are and equal to my sabatiers......it just the dishwashing and getting wet too long that lets them down th couple of stars.

Knives were super sharp but getting blunt already. Look good though in my kitchen

Bought as a Christmas gift. Look good, cut well. Husband cut his finger on day 2 so also very sharp 😂

Ich habe mit diesem Artikel 5 hochwertige sehr gut verarbeitete Messer gekauft. Ein wirklich schöner und robuster Messerblock. Ich denke das man für diesen Preis nichts besseres bekommen kann. Ich habe sehr viel Freude damit und kann den Artikel nur weiter empfehlen. Die Lieferung war super schnell,alles in allem ist mir das 5 Sterne wert!

Un des meilleurs achat fait sur Amazon. Des couteaux professionnels à un prix imbattable. Je les utilisent quasi tous les jours. Le bloque est lourd et stable (il vaut mieux) et les ustensiles de qualités.

ho preso questi coltelli perché avevano uno sconto spropositato. Per il prezzo che ho pagato... ( che onestamente non ricordo ) a suo tempo mi sembrava un acquisto discreto. Se li avessi pagati con il prezzo indicato come prezzo reale ( ben oltre i 200 euro) mi sarei un po risentito. Sono bei coltelli, le lame di discreto acciaio, e tengono bene il filo. Le impugnature sono molto migliorabili, ed in quasi tutti i coltelli la lama fuoriesce leggermente dalle guancette nere, dando una sensazione non piacevolissima durante il taglio

J'ai reçu ces couteaux dans un bel emballage , ils sont magnifiques et je vais faire en sorte que personne d'autres que moi ne les utilise , je sais c'est pas sympa mais je n'ai pas envie qu'on me les abîme et puis je ne voudrais pas que quelqu'un se coupe avec ....
