Bluestone Sunshields Shorty Lux

Love this visor. It really keeps the sun off my face, and also takes the place of sunglasses for eye protection. Not bad looking. I like the rose gold visor part. Wish they had additional color choices in the headband part. On the expensive side, but a rather unique and practical item.

The shipping was fast and the sunshield seem to be of high quality. It will definitely be a big part of my sun protection routine when I am outside on sunny days.

$60 is frankly unacceptable for the poor quality you get. If I paid $15-$20 I’d be ok with it because it feels like it cost $5 to manufacture. It has cheap exposed plastic and the mechanism seems like it would only survive a few uses, let alone a fall. Don’t waste your time

In all of my years on Amazon, I have never written a review. That being said, I REALLY wanted to like this product. It looks cool, it’s protective, it’s unique. However, for this price, I expected a LOT better quality.My first order had to be immediately returned because the flimsy plastic visor was dramatically warped. I felt that the headband itself fit very well, but it was unusable.My second one felt different. The headband did not fit snugly, and I have a pretty average-sized skull for a man. As you can see in the pictures, the back portion of the band that goes over the ears almost looks like it’s internally broken, and splays out such that the fit of the headband is extremely loose. Even just walking down the block, I was constantly adjusting it, as it kept falling down. I’m not sure if the band is supposed to be like that, or I just have a defective product. Moreover, I feel that the plastic that makes up the protective visor itself should be slightly thicker and more durable. I would even suggest adding some sort of protective liner on the edge to prevent cracking.Again, it looks cool, and I really want this product to work. But I’m so frustrated by the quality of its construction when held to the expectation of its price point. Maybe I’m just unlucky and keep getting broken ones, but that isn’t something I can prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Keep working on improving this product, and I’m sure people will love it.

Originally purchased this to wear after my facial appointments. I've now expanded the use to when I go to amusement parks and summer concerts. Perfect shield from UV light and I can see through the visor clearly. Absolutely is essential if you want to avoid developing sun spots or keep skin looking youthful longer.

The headband part is so tight when it's clipped that it was unwearable. I tried wearing it unclipped and it was so loose it fell over my eyes while I was driving! It does help a bit with sun but it also lets sun in from the sides and on the top between the headband and visor. Overall, this product is a design fail. I hope they redesign it to be more user friendly and to keep the sun off.

Good idea but the lens scratches easy and the headband is very hot and uncomfortable. They should make one that connects to sunglasses.
