Fitted our old office chair perfectly and works well. Very easy assembly of the new canister - but only once we had removed the original canister, which took a lot of hammering to get out.

Purchased to give a favourite work chair a new lease of life. Fitted this which lifts a bit higher than previous. Very sturdy and no sinking. Good value for money and saved buying a new chair.

Needed a replacement as my office chair was sinking after being sat on it for 10 mins, this is an excellent cylinder, goes up very high which is useful for someone of my height, im very happy and hope it lasts, it fit perfectly seems sturdy and is just as comfortable as my old cyclinder on this chair

First of all, this is a great product and really strong. I bought it for my old DX Racer King chair and it incredibly strong, and more than capable of holding my 22 Stone self without issue. However, and this is probably my fault but I've never bought a gas strut before, it doesn't sit in the base as far down as the original and it is much bigger. Because of this minimum height I can barely get my legs under my desk, and at maximum height I can't touch the floor. It makes my chair like a bar stool. And at 6 foot 1 inch, I'm not exactly short. Good and strong though and great value.

Worked well as a replacement for mine as it was sinking. Very easily to install and actually has more height range than my original cylinder.

My office chair had cost quite a bit and I was considering buying another but decided it made sense to try and fix it. Removing the old one proved difficult, but once I bought a pipe wrench to remove it, this Huiguli has now meant my office chair is better than it was. Brilliant.

Perfect fit for our home office chair. Very easy to install, bottom and top just mate directly with the base and seat of the chair. Removing the old cylindar took a bit of effort with a rubber mallet but this new cylindar fitted very easily. It is quite tall when fully extended (maybe too tall for some, check your requirements) but even at max extension feels very secure and stable.

A simple process to remove the failed cylinder from a chair and install the replacement within minutes. This particular part is heavy duty to support higher than standard weight and lifts taller than most standard cylinders and should last for years.

So my Real Space DRG gaming chair was sinking. I read the reviews and checked that my chair was compatible with this Cylinder replacement. Google told me that my chair had the most common cylinder with a 2" (50mm) base. I ordered this Huiguli cylinder to replace my old one. Taking the old cylinder off was a little tough, as mentioned in many other reviews. I tried to hammer the swivel base with casters off the chair, but had no room to work and no luck. So, I unscrewed the baseplate from the chair. I turned the base upside down in my workbench and proceeded to knock out the old cylinder with a hammer. I destroyed it, because I had to hit it so hard and directly in the center to dislodge it from the base. But that did the trick. I then used vice grips to grab hold of the old cylinder and turned & "unscrewed" it from the base. The new cylinder was simple to put on. After screwing the baseplate back onto the chair, I then replaced the old plastic cylinder protector onto the new cylinder, then slid the cylinder into the baseplate. I then replaced the old base with the casters. The new base is fantastic. I have no evidence of durability because it is brand new. But, it works great and goes "extremely" high if needed. It is a little higher than the old base at it's bottom position, but that is fine, as the old one was very short at it's bottom position. I am extremely happy with my purchase, that came within 6 hrs of ordering. It sure beats having to buy a new $400+ big and tall chair.
