What a brilliant wee hard drive. Had some old photos on disk I wanted to check and this did the job perfectly. Great value for money compact but very robust. This drivevcost just over £10 and if you had to pay double or treble that you wouldn’t have complained. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a wee drive to work along there PC or laptop. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy to use, plug and okay. Perfect for the CD's with photos I have to transfer. Slightly noisy so may not be as useful if watching something.

My other disc drive’s USB port broke the other day, and having seen the reviews and low price, I thought of getting this one as I love making my own discs and stuff. If you’re looking for a product to burn your own DVDs with, I advise you avoid this one - acts broken, keeps failing on me, couldn’t burn a single disc every time, overall a waste of money.

I have not tried writing to a CD/DVD, but does the job of reading my collection of music CD which is what I bought it for.

Tested on Linux with some old CDR and DVD I had burned stuff to, worked well.

It works...however the built in USB lead is very short - only 25cm. Okay for laptop users, I guess... but for those with a desktop, it can make connecting it up quite tricky and impractical unless you have USB inputs very close to the top or bottom of your desktop.
