Great lights, work as advertised, long-lasting.
A great problem-solver! I put these in my barn so I'm not walking into pitch darkness on winter mornings before I flip on the lights, and my horses have some illumination. I added two inexpensive light fixtures for these bulbs. I waited months after my purchase so I could give a fair review. It's all thumbs up, these have performed great, they're very light-sensitive as desired, they're on when it's dark, and off when it's not. Long-lasting, too. I haven't even opened the second two bulbs in the pack! Definitely will buy again.

Unreliable garbage
The previous Dusk to Dawn bulbs I had finally burned out after years of use... unfortunately, I couldn't remember the brand I bought. I picked these up as a replacement and they are absolute trash. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't... sometimes they flicker like a strobe at a dance party. I had one quit after a few weeks, swapped it with the other... install- nothing, uninstall, install-nothing, uninstall, install and tap a few times... nothing... etc.. Put the one from my front door (the old brand) that hadn't burned out yet... it worked fine. Reinstalled the first replacement bulb (which had stopped working) and now it works again. After a few months, it started flickering when on. It died (again) tonight. Put in the second bulb... install-nothing, uninstall, install-nothing, uninstall, tap a few times-nothing, uninstall, install... miraculously it works... we'll see for how long. Find another brand. These are garbage.

Highly recommend
Love these bulbs! Just leave your light switch on and they turn themselves on at dusk and turn off when it’s daylight. No need to remember to turn your lights on or off. I especially love the fact if your away from home and are gone longer than expected and return after dark, no worries, your porch light is already on for you.

Nice & bright/strong, doesn't fit all recess fittings
If your recess hole is 4" in diameter, these will NOT fit, so it didn't fit in my kitchen, but it fit elsewhere- likely will fit outdoor recess fittings, but make sure to measure. Anything larger than 4" will likely fit. Great color and nice and bright, so you get coverage with light while still being easy on the eyes.

Not sure why they're not as effective anymore
They worked good for a while--about 6 mos, but now they seem to be attracting more bugs than repelling. The light is still yellow, so I don't understand what the problem is. They still come on at dark, so I'll just have to find another use for them, like a shed or unattached garage, but not for my front/back door!
