While not huge, it was a bit bigger than I thought. Sounds decent from speaker. Reception is on par with other radios I own. Battery life is really good. For me it is a great camping radio. It’s loud enough and has a fairly full tone considering the speaker size. Of note, the speaker is only about 1/2 the size of the grill, but is housed in an acoustic enclosure inside the radio which I found interesting.

A great little radio and terrific value. Good reception and great batter life. (Can use either batteries or the built in rechargeable. I like that a lot.) I really appreciate the sleep timer! Two problems... I am not smart enough to program the stations, and the antenna is not tight and flops all over the place. Will see if I can take this apart to tighten.

I live near Tampa, FL. FM came in great. Ham and AM very poor reception. Maybe the radio was just a defective one. Trying to tune in a Ham station took forever. Recvd only 1 weather channel. Radio was returned.

The primary reason we selected this particular radio is because we have a relative. He travels from Las Vegas to LA about twice a month in his favorite little older model car which does not have a working radio. We ordered this Radio as a gift for him to enjoy and keep in touch with the world while making that long journey through the desert. The USB port is essential as it's sometimes difficult to obtain reception in the desert. Using a flash drive with his favorite music keeps him calm and alert. J.S.

I was skeptical of the internal battery like most units I thought it would die quickly but I am pleasantly surprised. I've had it in my unpowered shed for weeks and it still has juice left. I use it for a couple hours each time I'm working at things in my shed and it hasn't let me down. I'm in a remote location but the radio still tunes in am and fm stations without any static. I would recommend this radio, and it sounds quite well for a compact reasonably priced unit.
