I needed a replacement chain fast. This turned up the next day, even though I ordered it late. It was super easy to fit as I didn't need to size the chain. The Magic link is a great feature as this means you're not weakening the links by removing pins. Plus its design of the links makes it run smoother than my old chain thus reducing running noise. This is a great value chain for a replacement.

Good strong chain that is easy to fit. I cover a lot of miles in muddy wet terrain and it has lasted a year so far.

I needed a replacement for my worn chain as I cycle to work every day. Fitted nearly a month ago and working well.

Seems like a good quality chain, but don’t be fooled by “Easy installation“. I bought two chains to install on two bikes. Shortened with a link extractor, then used the “Magic” connector to join the ends up. It’s supposed to click into place, but it took the strength of two burly blokes with a specially adapted tool to get them to “click” with both chains. On the plus side, I doubt they’ll come apart!

fitted to 5 speed back cassette with 28 38 48 tooth chain wheel. Took a couple of links out to match the length of the one I took off. My chain no longer jumps - early days but I would buy again. Used the quick link which was a first and it seems good.

Bought this chain to replace a shimano chain on my bike as a maintenence job. After many adjustments I could not get rid of the annoying jingling noise that came from the chain passing around the cassette. I eventually took this chain off and refitted the old one and peace was restored. It reminded me if the wise saying "if it aint broke don't fix it"

Chain seems fine. Chain link was out of shape and wouldn't work. Tried to get a replacement link but couldn't get past the bloody Amazon bot. Used an old link. Chucked the new one in the bin. Infuriating.

Ich habe diese Kette vor ziemlich genau 6 Jahren gekauft – und sie ist bis heute in absolut einwandfreiem Zustand! Damals musste ich sie um drei Glieder kürzen, was mit dem passenden Werkzeug völlig problemlos möglich war. Seitdem läuft sie zuverlässig auf meinem Alltagsrad, das zwar draußen steht, aber zumindest vor direktem Regen geschützt ist. Trotzdem ist die Kette natürlich Feuchtigkeit, Temperaturwechseln und allgemeiner Witterung ausgesetzt. Und das Erstaunlichste: Sie ist nicht einmal ansatzweise gerostet – im Gegenteil, sie glänzt heute eigentlich so, wie am ersten Tag! Außer etwas Öl nie irgendeine Art von Wartung notwendig gewesen! Ich habe nie auch nur ein einziges Problem mit dieser Kette gehabt! ✅ Positiv: * Extrem langlebig – 6+ Jahre Nutzung ohne sichtbaren Verschleiß!! * Null Rost, kein Anlaufen * Kürzen problemlos möglich * Kettenschnellverschluss zur einfachen Montage vorhanden * Passt perfekt * Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist überragend ⚠️ Negativ: – Nichts! 🟰 Neutral: – Nichts! Reçu a la date prévue . J'utilise depuis longtemps ce modèle . Jusqu’à maintenant je n'ai rencontré aucun problème d'usure prématurée , ou de casse . Pourtant cette chaine est installé sur mon vélo de voyage avec lequel je fais énormément de kilomètres . Avec un entretien minimum , elle reste utilisable sur a peu prêt 10000 bornes . Il faut savoir qu'elle subit toutes sorte d'intempéries en voyage ( Humidité , poussière , boue , manque d'huile et j'en passe ) Et pourtant elle ne m’a jamais lâché . Il y a aussi l'effort et l’extrême tension que je lui fait supporter chaque jours , car un vélo en voyage est souvent très lourdement chargé et impose d'avoir un matériel ultra solide ( Une chaine en bonne état et bien installée peu supporter jusqu’à 300 kg a l'étirement , avant d'arriver a la casser , il faudra être plus costaud que musclor ) Test : Ben , c'est une chaine solide et durable qui tiendra plusieurs années suivent votre utilisation et son entretien . Conseil : Cette chaine est conçue pour être installée sur une cassette ( Pignons ) D'un maximum de 7 pignons pas 8 , Je dirai qu'une cassette de 8 pignons risque d'avoir un entraxe trop étroit pour cette chaine , et donc de provoquer des problèmes d'emboitements sur les dents de chaque pignons , cela est dus par le fait que cette chaine sera trop large pour s'emboiter correctement . Donc , installez cette chaine sur une cassette de 7 pignons au maximum . Il faudra peut être la raccourcir de quelques maillons suivent votre type de vélo . Il peut arriver que quelques maillons s'articule mal et coinces un peu , cela arrive assez souvent sur des chaines neuves . Pour résoudre le problème , il faudra juste forcer un peu longitudinalement sur les maillons récalcitrent pour faciliter leurs articulations . En suite , n'oubliez pas de huiler votre chaine avant la première utilisation . N'oubliez pas non plus , que le maillon rapide de fixation doit être installé dans le sens de la flèche qui est indiqué dessus ( Flèche dirigée vers l'avant du vélo ) Coté entretien : Un peu d'huile pour chaine toutes les 100 heures d'utilisation en condition route normal suffira . Par-contre , il faudra augmenter cet entretien si vous roulez sur piste poussiéreuse ( VTT , VTC ) Sens oublier le bord de mer qui a cause de l'air et eau salé abrasif réduit considérablement la durée de vie de ces mécaniques . Si au bout d'un certain moment vous remarquer qu'avec l'usure votre chaine est devenue bruyante au pédalage , ou que malgré un bon réglage des dérailleurs les vitesses passes moins fluidement , je vous conseil de la démonter et de la tourner sur elle mème avant de la réinstaller . Effectivement , les maillons de votre chaine finisses par s'user toujours au mème endroit , alors , en la retournent ont utilisera les endroits de ces maillons qui n'ont jamais été en contacte avec les pignons , et qui ne sont donc pas usés , cela nous permettra de l'utiliser encore pendent quelques mois , et sens aucun doute encore pendent plusieurs centaine de bornes . Un autre conseil : Évitez absolument d'utiliser le grand plateau du pédalier avec le grand pignon de la roue arrière , car cela cré un mouvement de torsion anormal ( Croisement ) sur la chaine qui s'usera bien plus rapidement , cela est aussi valable pour le petit plateau du pédalier connecté au petit pignon de la roue . Voila pour mes petits conseils de base qui augmenteront la longévité de votre matériel . Conclusion : C'est une très fiable chaine que je vous recommande si vous cherchez un matériel fiable .
