Excellent, if you only have 4 bikes
Easy to install and very sturdy. We could only fit 4 bikes on it though (2 adult, 2 kid).

Great mounting kit!
My first impression (out of the box), was that I paid quite a bit for what it is. After installation and setup tho, I am very pleased. All hardware is of good quality and complete. The mounting bar appears to be powder coated as opposed to paint. The unit installed easily within 20 minutes as my garage walls are drywalled but not painted so I could easily identify the necessary mounting studs. With regard to the ability to hang five adult bikes, I give two thumbs up. In my case I am hanging 3 road bikes and 2 mountain bikes.I would purchase this kit again.

Easy installation and decent quality
I will admit that I was a little nervous about purchasing this unit after reading some of the reviews that talked about quality issues, particularly with the sliding the hangers that go onto the bar. I opened the package and made sure everything was there and did a dry assembly run to ensure that there were not going to be any assembly issues. The new version uses a 3-sided hanger system that easily goes over the bar and they are held in place with a locking pins. There are five (5) hangers that came with the unit, but I only installed four (4), which is all I needed. Unless there are kids bikes involved, hanging 5 bikes would be tight on a 46" bar. I hung two road and two hybrid bikes and the wheels went in easily. However, I would imagine that with fatter tires there may be some issues getting the hooks through the wheels. The only other minor issue is unless you push the two outside hooks in three or so holes from the end, the bar will slide sideways in the brackets. Since I wanted maximum spacing between bikes, I extended the outside hangers as far as they would go and put two bolts with washers through to hold the bar in place. Easy fix. Also, since I mounted this on a finished wall in my garage, I added a small strip of 1/8 plywood to keep the tire marks off of the drywall.

Very sturdy, easy to install, just a couple of issues
This was one of the simplest garage-hacks ever. You have to mount it in studs, so a power drill was useful, but overall it was very easy to install and works great. There are two reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. #1) One end of the mounting bar would NOT fit through the bracket. It was just slightly out of square. Luckily, once mounted, I only had to slide the other end through both brackets and it was fine. #2) I do not see how you could fit 5 bikes on this rack. They would be so close that you'd have to take them all down to get to the "deepest" one. Luckily I only needed to hang three, and I bought the larger one having read the reviews.

Easy to install, sturdy solution.
Easy to install - only 6 bolts that mount to the wall studs. Product seems very sturdy, and our 5 bikes fit well by alternating the handlebars up/down.

Great design
This is an excellent way to store multiple bikes in small spaces. It's incredibly sturdy as long as you make sure to mount to studs. The adjustable nature of the rack is perfect to install on the wall and manage bike placement. It offers wiggle room during installation I'm case your two mount points are slightly off, you can still insert the crossbar without needing to redrill. As with every bike rack on the market, size up. If you have 4 bikes to store, buy a 5 bike rack, etc. This will definitely not hold 5 bikes of different sizes. But it holds 2 adult and 2 kids bikes perfectly. I suggest protecting your walls from bike tires unless you don't mind messing up the wall paint where the tires sit.The hooks are great, just be sure when you place the wheel on the hook that there is nothing resting on a spike or you'll damage your spokes.

Super nice, but don't count on storing/using 5 bikes
I'm very impressed with this product. The design, the build quality, the finish, the packaging - everything is well done. I purchased two 5-bike racks and installed them side-by-side with a little space between them which should nominally create enough space to hang 10 bikes. However, to get 5 bikes on one rack requires installing them at 9-10 inch spacing which is really tight. Even when you alternate the bikes' orientations to pack them in, it's tight and difficult to fish one out. There is no way you could get 5 bikes on one rack in a way that allows you to easily grab one off the wall and/or return it after your ride. Instead, you should think of the 5-bike rack as either a means of *storing* 5 bikes or *using* about 3 bikes. Again, this is a really nice product, and the way I'll use it is to crowd in a few of our bikes that don't get ridden often on one end and then space out the few that get lots of riding on the other end.

Great space saver for multi-bike families
I have a few bikes and figuring out how to store them is always a challenge. This rack and shelf combo was really helpful for the design of my new garage! I had to mount it a little higher than I would have liked to accommodate my really long mountain bike, but I'll just store things I don't need very often on the shelf since I need a step stool to access it.I had some parts missing from the shipment, but an email to StoreYourBoard explaining the situation led to them shipping me the replacements parts in a few days. Excellent customer service!I didn't have any issues with installation, and found the instructions and videos to be useful in planning where to place it. My studs were around 16" apart, and I used the provided bolts without issue. I did need an impact drill to get the bolts into the studs. I had a helper, but believe this would be an easy one-person install especially if you have the right tools.Remember that the height of your tallest bike from the ground to the top of your handlebars is the minimum clearance you'll need to walk around the bikes when they are mounted. My tallest bike is 40 inches, so the bikes require almost 4 feet of distance from the wall to walk in front of the bikes. If you have the space, it's no big deal!Highly recommend this set-up and felt it was a great value for the money!
